'You'd want Simpson next to you every time but managers would prefer Janmaat for some reason'. - Williamson. He's had a bottle of red to himself.

Fair to say they both dislike Janmaat and Taylor with a massive passion. Williamson was offered 5k per week in January to stay. 'Taylor's a fucking idiot and he loves the club too much so he can't play against QPR'. That's what Pardew said to Williamson.

I'm at Fratelli. Coloccini and Williamson are in eating together.

Not sure anyone would've bought him. Players only stay at NUFC long term if they're not good enough.

Dude it's not even his worst performance in the last 2 months. Chelsea away he might as well have been a traffic cone.
  6. Michael Owen club captain, man. What the fuck was Keegan on the day he made that happen?
  7. Hopefully that's it for Scum's CL hopes.
  8. They needed a handball to beat us, so I wouldn't make any big claims for them for the rest of the season. They also should've been 3-0 up at HT. They deserved to win that game, comfortably.
  9. This isn't really fair. Of course you get a larger proporiton of dickheads in those positions than driving buses but some of the warmest people I know own/run very, very successful business. Agree with the rest.
  10. Not if Bernhard Langer wins the Masters at 58 tonight.
  11. That's your best ever post, DJ. Genuinely.
  12. Fucking hell, man, don't.

    Alan Shearer

Nobody thinks he belongs in the category, man. Apart from 1 or 2 dafties.
  14. Someone like Brighton (if they come up) will get him in the summer, then.
  15. He just mustn't have the wind to start football matches since his lung problem. That's all I can think because he's undeniably a good footballer.
  16. I do wish he'd just stop giving it the bigun with CBs, though, because there's a definite correlation between the games in which he gets bullied around and those in which he misses chances and generally looks clumsy and static. He should watch someone like Ba who just rose above it, didn't really engage in the physical stuff but was in the right place on the end of chances.
  17. He's a young kid. He'll become a man with age and experience like most of us do.
  18. As much as I like the kid there's nothing tough about Mitro. I know he tries to act it.
  19. Through his letterbox too, with petrol.

He's actually much worse at 30 than at 20, which is pretty unheard of for a CB.
  21. Generally one team always performs the great escape and one team gets dragged into it in the last few games. There's always a lot of shock results when it comes to teams battling relegation against sides with little/nothing to play for. Sunderland at Stamford Bridge 2 years back, Norwich at the Etihad 3 years ago etc. Unfortunately we manage to demonstrate both talentlessness and gutlessness every single game, so you can't really give us that fighting chance.

Yep. The 'investment' made in the central defence in the last 7 years (net spend of around £8m, I think) is perhaps the biggest tangible evidence of the club's apathetic approach to identifying and correcting weakness.
  23. He's faded terribly in the second half of the season, like. He should never play centrally, mind.
