  1. How so? Because again he's going where the most money is. A player with all that talent and in 10 years nobody will remember him. But his family and friends will all be taken care of. and at the end of the day that's all that matters. They be taken care of on 50K a week, too. Maximise income - better living standards. something practically everyone strives for in modern society. Motivation varies per person as well of course, Maybe Demba couldn't give a crap about being "remembered" Or winning stuff. I just f***ing hate that mentality. Aye, he'd have a better chance of being remembered or winning stuff staying at Newcastle than going to Chelsea or Besiktas, who challenge for cups, titles and European football.. Where the fuck did I say Demba Ba should come back to Newcastle?
  2. Fucking HTT with his Merc that does 6 mpg.
  3. He doesn't have the 'sniff of goal' attitude/ability if you like to be as prolific in that role nor would he settle to basically being a specific type player. He likes to roam and likes to pretty much run around getting involved. He's no target man, he's too good a footballer in terms of vision, creativity and passing to play right up there. He's got to stop roaming, though. He roamed far less in 09-10 and scored 40 goals.

  7. I think the best thing for Rooney as he gets older is to play as an out and out target man type striker. I know he's not tall but I don't see any reason he couldn't score lots of goals and bring the right players into the game in the final third like Shearer did post-injury. He's such a brilliant attacker and striker of the ball but too often he's on the edge of the box waiting for the second ball.
  8. Man U fans are going to have to recalibrate their expectations, and most of them (the real ones) know it. They're behind City and Chelsea and will continue to be in lieu of something pretty drastic.

Don't compare Papiss to Shola, man.

Some raw pace up front to bring off the bench. Yes please indeed.

  12. Funny he scores and assists more than Van Persie and it's Rooney who's had the bad season.
  13. Which I'd say is pretty unlikely if we can't overtake 7th or 8th.
  14. If Cabaye was a poor leader what the fuck is Coloccini?
  15. As I just pointed out, Stoke are irrelevant in a discussion about the feasibility of finishing 7th or 8th.

As I said last night, it's far better than the useless lump he's replacing.
  17. We are one good ST away from getting in the top 7/8 in my opinion. You saying we can't over take Stoke and Southampton? Stoke finished 9th. 7th and 8th were Man U and Southampton. And no, we can't.
  18. We're still far weaker than we were when we started last season's farce.
  19. I hate to be negative but none of them look any good.

Shola managed 0 goals from the bench. I think we've found a decent replacement, like.
  21. Can see Anita playing the Perch utility role next season, like. Certainly see don't see him starting if the current midfield lot remain here.

Bellamy calls Bobby the best manager he ever worked with and the one who improved his game the most in his book. High praise.
