you can't just say with the exception of one summer and try to brush it under the carpet because that summer lead to us not getting into the CL and we haven't been back since. It was basically the beginning of the decline that eventually lead to relegation so no it can't and should not be ignored. Which is why I acknowledged it. We were an ambitious club that made bad decisions but always in the name of attempting to bring success and competing with the best. Totally different animal to the rubbish occupying SJP now.

Bobby generated a load of cash by taking us to the champions league. Cash that was primarily spent before we were even close to qualifying for it.
