  1. I wouldn't even think of interfering with the Schar - Botman partnership. Not for a couple of seasons anyway. They're just brilliant together.

    Nick Pope

Dubravka's a mediocre at best goalkeeper. Was always going to make a huge difference signing Pope.

    Joe Willock

    My MotM. Brilliant tonight.
  4. Nonsense. Top player. I’d take him tomorrow.
  5. Rather we just replaced him.
  6. Wilson has looked remotely himself since coming back from the WC. Just not nearly enough goals in the front 6 and I hope it’s remedied soon.
  7. Beckham wasn’t even the best British player in the Man U team at the time. Ian, what you on?

    Alexander Isak

Mate Shola looked slow as a snail for us on his debut.
  9. If you look at how the ‘wingers’ play in Howe’s system you can categorically say Isak should not and will not be playing as one. He’s a striker, end of. Real conundrum for Eddie to solve up front, mind. Isak is still raw, in a new league and the 4 month layoff has cost us half of season where we could have got him up to PL speed. Callum, realistically will only be fit and fully sharp for about 50% of games, at best - and he’s nearly 31. Finally, Chris Wood is shit. Be interesting to see how it is addressed.
  10. He’d be 4th choice at Leeds according to my best mate who supports them. Wouldn’t suit their style either - then again whose style would he suit in 2023? Apparently some things online aren’t true.
  11. What position did he play last season? He’s full of energy but slow.
  12. He was excellent in the Championship but that was over nearly 6 years ago. He symbolises the Ashley era perfectly unfortunately. Get back into / stay in the PL but who cares if it’s soulless, predictably uninspiring football that scrapes a place in the bottom half.
  13. He’s got away with it by the looks but was terrible tonight. If January’s transfer aim is upgrading the weak link of the regular starters he’ll be back on the bench soon.
  14. He was actually decent tonight by his standards but it’s plain to see he’s got nothing left in open play and he knows it too. Trippier’s set pieces were far better, but that’s a given.
  15. To be fair, none of our fringe players, if in their right minds, think they have a claim for a starting place. Probably why Lascelles hasn’t moaned yet. He must look at Schar and Botman and think ‘fair play, I’m shit’.
  16. I think back to Wolves away. We looked far, far better after taking him off and playing no recognised striker.
  17. You’re a good dude and those are classy words but I can guarantee your thoughts on him would be quite different if he hadn’t spent the past 12 months have his slack picked up by other players in the squad.
  18. Yeah no one has turned on Howe. The only real issue I have with Howe over the past year is the signing of and persistence with Wood. Given the amount of game time he’s had a night like this has been coming, unfortunately.
  19. Which is why we desperately need a midfielder who can dictate the game with a strike of a ball.
  20. Leeds, and every club in the PL, have far better forwards on their books. I’m not sure why it’s such a big sudden revelation that Chris Wood is a terrible footballer. He’s never been anything else.
  21. Was dogshit before we signed him and dogshit since. Not his fault it hasn’t been remedied. Shall look forward to seeing him again on Tuesday.
