6/7 midfielders out and 3/4 in? Don't add up. it's not like selling all our midfielders is realistic either.. i meant spent big on a few quality players and replace the not-so-awful Milner and Duff with some promising kids.

never rated Butt, i can't stand the vertical line that his fair forms at the back. of course, it's not only him.. our midfield needs a complete revamp.. i'd be over the moon if we sell Butt, Geremi, Emre, Barton, Smith, Milner and Duff in the summer.. and spend all the cash on 3 or 4 new midfielders.

Given our worst player? Been dreadful. We have been playing well when on the deck, while Given has been Mr. Hoof, and has had yet another communication cock up as well. he had to clear the ball 10 times by the 25th minute.. and the communication cock-up was just a good intervention by Cacapa. you are clueless.

why are people putting price tags on him.. 12 million may be a good value for him, but it's not like we need to sell to afford to buy.. or do you honestly believe we will replace him with somebody better.. The only better attacking players the club has bought in the last 10 years are Bellamy and Robert.. which was ages ago.. so forgive me if i'm being skeptical about replacing him with somebody better

Why not? His good work ethic, passing and technical are put to much better use there than on the wing. his technique isn't that great, he's just good at suddenly turning left and right.. i dread to think what he'd be like at the center of the field

on what evidence a couple of sub appareances and a season of the reserves I do see what you mean but kazenga is no way ready to start and should be going out on loan if we are serious about him milner is not great but is no means the worst player in the starting 11.... he may be 'not ready', but as Milner has offered absolutely nothing in the last 10 games, he won't have any trouble filling for him.. it's not like he'd be playing instead of Ronaldo.. Kazenga can run, he can pass.. that's enough for me

when he's on top form and isn't afraid to run at people, yeah.. this season he has been one of the poorest wingers in the league and i'd rather see Kazenga, Troisi or even fucking Ameobi at the wing instead of him
