  1. 1. Newcastle Bottom of the entire footballing league - mackem shits
  2. What are you on about? He isn't handsomely payed at all, by all accounts he is one of the lowest paid players at the club. To be honest I can't blame Taylor for what he's doing. He wants to be paid a fair rate that is on a par with other young players at this club and he wants to start. At the end of the day it's his livelihood so if he can't get what he wants he'll move on. 8,000 a week to play for nufc is okay for me pal! he should be grateful.
  3. the whole situation stinks of that situation in 2004 when all the young players went full of themselves like jenas, dyer and bellamy. looks like stevie is doing the same and if he doesn't realise he's getting handsomely paid to play for his dream club, then i'd ship him out beacuse we don't need this. he is a good defender and will get better....as long as he realises he isn't bigger than the club.
  4. derby are an awful team who we must punish on monday night with our superior team. i'd go: harper beye cacapa rozehnal enrique milner geremi butt nzogbia ameobi owen

    Emre

on his day emre can be a decent player, however when he has played he hasn't produced enough, too few goals and assists, and too many injuries. perhaps the injuries could not have been prevented, but even so he has not done enough for the team when he has played. if galatasaray expectedly make a 4million bid, it would be an absolute fool who tured it down.
  6. buy beckham. offer him the chance to play back in europe. he's wasted in the states and i'm sure he would come back in order to prolong his england career. also, his assists would be handy!
  7. can't see the lad wanting to be away. it must not be as good money-wise to milner's and zoggy's. however if it is poor in relation to their respective contracts then i wouldn't be pleased if i were taylor. he'll sign one soon.
  8. cracking start but if i still have this buzzing feeling round about christmas, thats when i know it's time to get excited!
  9. aye that real madrid team's really average like ......................
  10. we've done well but the mackems must rank as the worst surely?
  11. we don't need faye or diop, we need an out and out right-back!
  12. home one is excellent, away one is good, 3rd one is horrific. looks like a division 3 goalkeeper kit!
  13. despite their win last weekend, boro' are a god damn awful team and this should be a 3 pointer for us. could see us giving them a bit of a tonkin'....hopefully
  14. gannin along to watch it in the pub before i make me way over to town. should start the festivities quite nicely.
  15. he can say all he wants to the press from my point-of-view, but come 5pm tonight, if he has put in a good graft against villa and we win, i honestly don't give a flying fart.
  16. if the pair of them go, and we are serious about making a challenge for champions league, a new right-back, centre-back and right-winger are all needed before the window closes. would be a massive shame to lose nobby at this stage.
  17. it was the entire first team squad's fault for their goal which should result in them all being sold. FACT.
  18. you'd imagine sam could dedicate a lot more of his time on the training pitch when it is outside the transfer window.
  19. a right-back is a must. and talk of geremi playing at right-back to me would be ridicilous, due to the fact he has played a couple of blinders in the centre of midfield. yes, carr has improved and has lost the necessary weight but a new top-drawer right back would let us step up another level. also, a centre-back who can cover all over the backline would be great. can hilguera play right along the back?
  20. keep zoggy at left-back for this one if jose ain't fit enough yet, resulting in nobby and milner taking the flanks. put geremi in as the holding midfielder with smith playing behind martins and viduka. 2-1 toon.
  21. sky sports are working to 'glenn time'.
  22. no reason not to. it's a brilliant idea and should have been in place since the ground was extrended to 52,000. the only way you will get more people singing is to have a section which will be loud and in turn spur the rest of the fans to sing. sometimes singing where i sit is greeted by glares of confusement. it's a yes from me.
  23. howay man, it's been shit for a few years now. can i just be happy until 11th august please?
  24. owen's missing for the start of the season, so reports the saturday morning papers. perhaps this smith deal suggests owen is injured far worse than we realised?
