i believe the key to our forwards actually hitting the net as many times mentioned, will be injuries. we cannot have another season of losing owen, then to see viduka break down and leave it all to martins. we need all of them fighting fit, having competition for places. i'm confident of that happening under the new regime, however as we speak there are quite a few injured already.

if viduka, owen or martins dared to go beyond 10 goals each we're looking at 100 goals easy. and considering our new defence will leak next to nothing, we're looking like title certs with a goal difference of about +80.

don't see a problem with this signing should it come off. competes for the midfield places, back-up for stikers, excellent work-rate and makes the side more aggressive, something we have missed since bellamy. the lad is a good footballer lets not forget and the only reason he isn't playing for man u this season is because of tevez, nani, andersson etc. good buy in my humblest, however, it is getting to panic time regarding the defence.

very pleasing news! what most excites me is that mort is a non-nufc fan so will therefore run the club with his head rather than his heart. now don't get me wrong, i am no shepherd fan, but i'd imagine a lot of the time he would have thought, 'a trophy signing will appease them lot and they'll be happy with me'. now, there will be none of this and the club will be run professionaly and efficiently. whats more, maybe we can see some fekkin transfers with a fee attached!!

yes, a move from newcastle to either fulham or bolton is an excellent career move.

allardyce ain't stupid and wouldn't start the season with just quedrue as our left-back. if we get him, he's infinitely better than babayaro as a back-up, and then we can go out and get bridge or someone of that calibre. if he's back-up, then i say it would be a good buy. also, geremi is a great signing and if we can get beye to contest for the right-back spots, i think our full-back positions will be pretty healthy for the new season.

we are very lucky to have ashley at the club now. before him, we could have faced the possibility of losing two effective strikers with lots of areas of the team needing replacing with limited resources. now, whilst i am desperate not to lose owen and martins, we could afford to lose them as we have the financial muscle to recruit replacements, just it would seem a hindrance considering we already have the ideal front four. however, i believe with allardyce in charge he can persuade both players to stay on and in that time we can climb the league and ashley can take these clauses out with better contracts (christ, think of owen's wage!). at least, this is what i hope for.
