I currently am incredibly disappointed. The whole Woodgate saga has shown how far we have fallen as a club and we need a very expensive summer to address this. With a billionaire in charge we should rightly expect a Chelsea-esque transformation. I doubt it will come though. We need to really buy some top of the range players because the stadium, finance, fanbase, core of players, training facilities and possibly manager are all there in place. 5/6 players can make us Champions League challengers (for qualification, not the trophy), but as I say Mike has to reach into his pocket and deeply!

Kazenga lua lua looks a good prospect and his training with the first team has set him above the rest. Marwood in midfield also looked good. However, Newcaste United losing to shrewsbury at any level is embarrassing. Allardyce out.

Milner skinned Sagna god knows how many times only that he had to cut back in everytime as he's a right footer. Get him back on the right and he'd have skinned Clichy for fun and whipped in a first time ball, not letting the defenders get back in time. This applies to Zoggy who is with Milner, our most potent threats. Yet Zog's been predominantly used as a right-winger or full back. If Sam is so uneasy at using his young spanish full-back, then I'd get Bridge or Shorey in who have experience. Attacking players in attacking positions will get us goals, much like the Tottenham and Everton games.

To say Kieron Dyer did NOTHING in his time here is just daft. Yeah he was a little twat and the last three years produced nothing but injuries, but the 01/02 and 02/03 seasons under Bobby he was tremendous. Games against Leeds spring to mind, and his link up play to Shearer and Bellamy was class. We were absolutely blessed with attacking players including Robert and Solano. Did you see Robert on the right or Solano on the left then? Did ya shite. I don't necessarily think the personnel is a million miles away from being geared to success. I think it's a case of getting a man in who's gonna get the players playing the right kind of football along the deck and having them in the right positions. Big Sam will always play long balls, and play Milner on the left or perhaps just drop him (!?) and this will never work here because the crowd will not give him the time to experiment like he did at Bolton.

Sack him personally. The point about needing 5 years is absolutely garbage. if we are going to spend wads on players i want to see good football. chelsea under jose done it for about 4 month Mate we can play more boring football than we are now and win games under Mourinho! And yes he may hyave spent a wad of cash but lets not forget he did win the league twice as well as the FA and Carling Cups. He is in a different league of management to Allardyce. I know it's all about giving a manager time but if the oppurtunity arises to get Jose and Sam can go to where he wanted to be all along, there would not be a moment's hesitation in my mind!
