  1. virgin and firefox and no probs here that's what I've got.
  2. Has anyone else had trouble with those embedded iplayer videos on the BBC? Since the derby it's always told me "This content is not currently available" I used to get that all the time on Sky Broadband. Seems to work on Three. Must be your IP I reckon. Hmm, I've changed IP address and still no joy....also the iplayer works for full shows.

  4. Sounds a bit worrying, tbh. I wonder if our dressing room problems may actually be as bad as has been rumoured in the past. I think the spirit has definitely been there the last few months....just when Smith and Duff (& Zoggy?) get on the pitch it goes to pot. No-one seems to have any faith in them, least of all themselves.
  5. Cringeworthy. Everton fans on 606 now whinging that they get no media coverage of their achievements. I'm sure we could spare them a couple of our column inches.
  6. "If ever we needed a team to look at we were in the right place today. "If Everton can finish fifth, why can't we? We have a bigger stadium and more fans, but they all play for each other and that's the spirit we don't have. "If we can get that with the players we've got there's no reason we can't challenge for that spot next season."
  7. Beatles - A Day in the Life (or A Beye On The Right) We sing the songs to Beye oh, boy About a Senegalese man who made the grade And though the songs are rather sad Well, We just have to laugh He never makes a gaffe He blew our minds out, unlike Carr .... Beatles - Yesterday Habib Beye All my troubles are so far away Now it looks as though you're here to stay Oh, I believe In Habib Beye Buddy Holly - That'll Be The Day Well, that's wa Habib Beye, when you say "Wye Aye" Yes, that's wa Habib Beye, then you make me high They say you're gonna leave, you know it's a lie 'Cause that's wa Habib Beye till I die
  8. To be fair to NE5, not as shit as they could have been though.
  9. That really wouldn't tie in with offering more than Spurs for Woodgate the old crock.
  10. But you'd be wrong as we offered more on the fee and wages.
  11. To be fair, they were spot on about Allardyce going when we said they were just haters.
  12. How the article would have looked if Freddie Shepherd hadn't supplied it.... By the way, can people not post the entire articles rather than just links? Pisses me off to provide the shiteous rags with even a single hit.
  13. We'll shite Spurs Came to say how right I was about being top North East Dog and find this little cherry on top.

Taylor is a complete minge. As was Bellamy. I was gutted Bellamy was sold. I'm happy to keep Taylor on a reasonable wage. Dunne was recently made Man City's highest earner at just over 50K....he was asking for 70K. Richards was also asking for 70K and got offered 47k. Though this was a few months back and I don't know the current situation. Both better than Taylor. I'd rather match their asking price than give Taylor 52K a week.
  15. The opposition manager should choose the team and subs. This would render expensive stars like Ronaldo obsolete and generate improved spending on average players to ensure your whole squad is solid with no weak links for ther oppostion manager to capitalise on.
  16. aye the African kids are better off than British kids tbf My problem is just that the money is going out of the country. Why should we develop Africaqn football in deprived areas? We have deprived areas in our own country where the money would be better spent. But then Bellamy wouldn't have a national league named after him.

That's secondary to whether he's the last man off the pitch, I was a bit concerned as he almost mugged himself and went off second last yesterday, but he showed a good level of concentration to notice the man behind him, stop and turn to applaud the almost empty stand and delay until he was the only player that loves the fans more than life itself left on the pitch. Deserves 104K a week for his exits this season.
  18. Get with the program Dave. You're letting facts cloud the issue here.
  19. Won't happen. Completely undermines the saleability of the league in foreign territories which relies on the worlds best players being at the top 4 clubs. Nice idea if we were as insular as Amercan sport is though. The only rule change I want to see is the re-introduction of the offside rule. It's demise is a travesty.
  20. I'll knock him for calling it the Craig Bellamy Foundation League. What a big-headed twat he is.
  21. I chanted for Owen, but you probably couldn't hear me. REALLY want him to stay, shame the crowd aren't so keen collectively.
  22. “I think it’s very, very exciting to finish fifth in the league for Newcastle,” he said. “You’d be mad in my position to say we can get in the top-four next season. You can’t ask an owner to spend that kind of money or get the players to come to this club that you would need to get in the top four. “We lost out on (Luka) Modric to Spurs and that tells you something. It’s a blow – it’s not the end of the world. “I’m still optimistic for this club in terms of where it’s been in the last couple of years.” http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2008/05/06/realist-kevin-lowers-fans-expectations-61634-20865971/
  23. Made me chuckle. Good news on the cheap kids tickets front. Not so sure about a singing 'section'....unless they label the entire stadium as that section.
  24. Allardyce only managed 8 from 36 points then. And he only had 3 of the 8 games against top 4 opposition. I think It's more important what points he's picked up against the bottom half, ie our competitors. Keegan = 16/24 Allardyce = 17/36
