Can't see Sissoko reacting well to being dropped to the bench in a Euro's year either. Making more and more sense to sell and reinvest in a proper right winger if we can get a good price. Just a shame De Jong's injury record is so pants. if we're looking to keep the ball more sissoko should not be playing You can keep the ball by passing it sideways and backwards. To score goals though you do need players who will drive forward and look to get in the box to support the strikers. that's wijnaldum's role though surely? you need a mix like, i get it, but if sissoko is staying he'll expect to be starting more often than not and i'm not sure he's right for us playing through the centre unless given a yaya sort of role with licence to get forward and 2 covering him, but that would surely clash with where we presumably intend to play de jong I think Sissoko will be played on the right side of midfield, I don't think either Wijnaldum or De Jong can do that role. They'll be vying for the central positions along with Anita and Colback. how are you seeing that line up like, 4-4-2 or 4-5-1/4-3-3 mitrovic de jong aarons wijnaldum colback () sissoko something like that?
