We'll bid £14.9 and refuse to go higher. #WeTried

Whilst Sports Direct are not posting, is it worth using that time to create a few throw-away twitter accounts? Just a thought, might be worth using the time wisely and having a bit of a stockpile ready!
-
Actually hitting stores like Debenhams is a great idea. Ashley can't dictate they block us because he's only a major shareholder, not a majority shareholder. And it'll likely affect the thoughts of the remaining shareholders quite a bit, and there's not a thing he can do about it.
-
I love that they're resorting to blocking people. Someone with access still, send them a link explaining what the "Streisand effect" is - they've obviously never heard of it.

He should be hammered from every conceivable angle. Nothing is too small. Nothing is "not worth bothering with". Anything (legal) that hurts Mike Ashley or his business interests by any amount, no matter how large or how small, should be done and done repeatedly. There's hundreds of thousands of us. We really can make a difference. Aside from that, those saying he doesn't care or is too thick skinned are, in my considered opinion, completely wrong. He's a man-child of Trumpian proportions and about as thin-skinned as people come. Don't confuse him not giving public statements with him not being able to be got at. Look what's happened in the past, the slightest whiff of protest and he bites in some way. Let's bring this cunt down. Enough is enough.

How do other clubs manage, don't they have wages to pay as well? Not a serious question, obviously, because we all know the answer already.
-
I'll define "wasting my time" for them. Wasting my time is supporting a club that doesn't try. Wasting my time is refreshing the transfer rumour thread. Wasting my time is feeling despondent all weekend after another defeat when we've fielded a team that's too weak for the league we're in. Wasting my time is wondering each day if Rafa has received the assurances he needs and has signed a new contract. All of that is wasting my time. Putting some tangible effort into getting this pariah away from our club is, to me, a bloody good use of my time.
-
You don't get a pay-off if you're sacked for gross misconduct. Running your mouth off about your boss is gross misconduct. Rafa is doing absolutely the right thing by keeping quiet and saying nothing.
-
Yeah, incompetence indicates attempting to do something but making a mess of it despite your best intentions. We just don't even fucking try.
-
This. I mean clearly I want him to stay, but my respect for him would if anything increase if he just turned tail and walked away, sticking 2 fingers up at this regime in the process.
-
Yeah but some of them were pens so it doesn't count. He's shit.

I've saved this to tweet "Sunderland fans still looking for three points" when the loose their first game of the season. Looks about as full as most match days.
-
I'd wager that Rotherham did that with largely the same squad and not a whole new team of inferior players Was going to say the same. Sunderland are having to rip up their squat and start again, with a budget of 0. I still think they'll be fine but it does have the potential to be hilarious.
-
Well Donald's not wrong. Things don't show up on your radar when they're already in your fucking boat.
-
Don't worry, we'll peddle Lascelles soon enough.

http://darlingtonfootballclub.co.uk/video-darlington-v-sunderland-goal-available-now/ If anyone fancies a mild chuckle.

Yeah this game's meaningless in terms of results, but it's still hilarious that they've lost it rather than horsing the opposition 5-0 like they seem to think they have a god-given right to in that league. Long may it continue, I still reckon they're good odds to go back up again but my word I'll laugh my insides out if they don't.

£20m. I'd be so done with anything to do with this club if he goes for anything less than £50m. That's what it would cost to replace him, that's what it should cost to buy him.
-
Is will be the £25m offer. We'll have made it after finding out about the £27m one. "We tried." That'll be our new thing. Pay some agent twat £2m to find out who has bid for certain players so we can go in below. And the club'll be absolutely gutted if it's accepted. Nah, we'd just wait until it came to personal terms and offer him the national minimum wage.

If I were to write a parody, I can't say I'd write much different to that.
-
To be fair though, they've at least managed to sign someone.
-
I wonder if: A) They vet whether you're a Sunderland fan before you start doing this B) If it's possible to install the seats backwards Just curious....
