He'll have no choice in 12 months time.

How have Arsenal managed to do this so quickly? I mean, how come they've missed out all the monitoring and preparing bid stages? So rash, they'll end up like Leedsmouth.
-
To be fair he's probably right.
-
Chill out lads, we're making a profit on this one.

Lineker raised the point of Low dropping big players for big games and asked Gullit if he never did the same. Gullit replied that he did with Shearer and Shearer said 'Yes, and look what happened' To be fair they did seem to genuinely enjoy the banter with each other and looked like there were no hard feelings on either side. Was very funny really.

Gullitt and Shearer.
-
They're a bigger club than us.

I'm not sure it's possible for him to not score.
-
They know his hip has gone, so they're sensibly saving him for the Argentina match.

Played often as a lone striker for Hamburg in those matches I've seen with VdV behind him. Ah bugger. I see where our scouting has broken down. Carr will have passed this onto Ashley by telephone and the fat man will have just heard Lasogga is a "loan striker". No wonder we're interested.

He's just not a left back. Should be converted to right back. His career is being destroyed by trying to play him at left back. He just becomes Jonas as soon as he gets in the opposition half. Wide players should be played on their natural sides, with the sole exception of auxiliary forwards supporting a lone striker. Right back for Santon, but he started as a right winger so maybe he could play there too. Not suggesting he'd immediately start pulling up trees at right back because he needs time to settle into it and re-learn that role, but we simply cannot play him on the left as he'll never improve one bit there and offers nothing at all going forward, which is half of a modern fullback's game.
-
He's simply not a left back. I don't care how often he plays there. he'll never be good at it and it's stifling the opportunity he has to become good at another position, ie right tback. At left back he can't get forward with any 'fret'. All he can do is cut inside and have a shit shot or try a useless inswinging cross that 99/100 times is easy to clear or for the goalie to gather. I'm not suggesting that at DR he'd be an instant success, but at least with time and coaching (Haha, I know!) he'd have an infinitely better chance than at a position where he's fundamentally unsuited. Why we persist with him there is utterly beyond me.

Intelligence helps. As does charisma. As does a knowledge of the game. Shearer demonstrates none of those. If he was sat there oozing passion and tactical astuteness, I wouldn't care if he was thick as mince. But when he seems to have none of those attributes I'm struggling to see why he'd be a good manager. Because he played for England? Because he's our top scorer? Totally irrelevant. On the relevant managerial points, he's sadly lacking. (Still be better than Pardew though)

Really underlines what an utter imbecile Pardew is. Not that it needs underlining, as it's already written in letters large enough to be seen from space.
-
Well, at least we tried. Fucking shameless cunts.
-
Except the cup games Alan. Except the fucking cups. Cunt.

....hatem, marveaux... They can't even get on the bench.
-
If he gets a testimonial it should just be a 90-minute penalty shootout. Against Sunderland.
-
Goodbye Shola. Debut all the way back in 2000 I believe. Thanks for the 14 good games.
-
Top bloke is Shola, but only Pardew leaving would be more deserving of a celebratory wank.

I give up. http://www.apostrophe.org.uk/page2.html See point 3.

Congratulations on the worst use of an apostrophe in the history of written language.
