Is that for real ? 0_o (just back from the match)

I know he's played, but based on his previous reputation, you'd think he'd be worth £2million or something? I'm very interested to see what we got.

I'm in the milburn, near the gallowgate. There was a fair bit of booing, sounded like from behind the goal
-
It was all good in the milburn for me - quicker than normal

I think this is ridiculous. It was boring because it was a poor game, a 0-0. All games that we're poor in are boring, as are most 0-0s. Sam out, for sure We had countless games like this under bobby, especially in his first 2 seasons. Spurs had many last season and came 5th. We didnt even lose!

My friend said they had a 45minute countdown in the corners at St james' now? Bolton have just got these new electronic boards too. I was reading it while board in their programme - 4th in the prem to get that type

Great finish tonight. And those paki chants are disgraceful. Hopefully they'll not take off. I can think of little more embarrassing or shameful than being at the away end at the stadium of light while that's being sung.

From the sounds of it Faye and Cacapa are too good for the bench. I really dont know what's going to happen. We're spoilt for choice!

Sounds like this guy is too good to be back up. Does that mean he's here as a starting right back? For a RB the independent is talking of phil neville again, though i'd be surprised if they'd sell and if he'd come http://sport.independent.co.uk/football/premiership/article2864143.ece and the mail says belleti http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=475421&in_page_id=1779

I expected Everton to win and think they'll do very well. Spurs will be up there but lower than 5th i think. Remember they were poor for the first month or two last season
-
No Boos mate, that was MOTD editing,as he came on they cut to a Spurs throw that shouldnt of been given, thats what the Boos were for I can't remember hearing any boos at all while watching the game live on sky... so that might be true. Are all the people who claim they heard boos basing it the MotD footage? There were boos but i thought that they were as the mackem said, for something else No he's not. And yes he's young, but not as young as people think, i believe. He's older than Martins.

I think we need to keep huntington as back up. Load edgar out If we get Edmilson in January, loan Hunt out
-
Hopefuly a sign of things to come

Is this guy actually good, or just a mediocre to make up the numbers? Ive never seen him - or never noticed him rather
-
Owen could play in the middle instad of viduka. It doesnt have to be a hold up player in the middle.
-
Yeah, but can you drop Zog?
-
Barton? Barton's a dick in real life, but bar the odd dirty tackle he's alright on the pitch. Diouf is a constant cheat and dickhead on the pitch. I saw him pull up to the ground on saturday. Full white suit, ferrari, blasting music , having a go at people asking for autographs. Then his minder guy couldnt get his car to start for about 5 mins to take it off. If he did come though, i don't deny that i would support him.

How can we fit in the new players who didn't played last night?

I think now Emre is dedicated to our club and resisted offers from Turkey and Germany he and Barton can prove to be the centre-midfield we need. Didnt he supposedly reject clubs last summer? -

I thought geremi was a playmaker, though he wasnt really on saturday. Emre certainly isnt the man. There is only a 2 in 7* chance of him turning up *true fact -
Big Sam on booing, negative vibes from the crowd and knee-jerk reactions

People may not always agree, but they're always a source of discussion - remember their piece before the Cup Semi against Man Utd 3 years ago...majestic stuff which funnily enough manifested itself in a fantastic display by our fans in Cardiff. Maybe it was co-incidence. What did they say again like? -

Sam's seen it from the other side too. He probably saw last season when bolton beat us here how the fans turned on the players and how it benefited them. -

100% spot on and so refreshing to hear a manager, especially a Newcastle manager, speak out about something that has almost become our stock and trade these past few years. My two cents from earlier... About this booing malarky. I honestly think we've been fed so much drivel, s*** and excuses over the last 3 years, that it was inevitable that we (the fans) would crack. Lets hope with the positives coming out of the club, when something goes wrong, or somebody fucks up, we can see how far we've come, and respect that. I'd also like to add, that I don't think the fans at home will be half as restless this time around. We can see a new horizion, we can see plans. BTW I don't think we are more critical, demanding or whatever than most other fans, we are fairly patient, but I do think at times, we can be quite overbearing and as our optimism and sheer happiness engulfed the club under SJH and KK to great effect, our doom and gloom and pessimism can do the same, but in the opposite. Here's to happy days for us and our players. Even during happy times slight turns took us to boos. Bobby's last season was hardly a disaster, 5th, and there was a fair bit of booing there, particularly in the last home game v wolves, which we drew I think Carr's crap, but i wouldnt dream of booing him. If anything it's just going to make him more apprehensive and worse. and btw, carr got some boos when his name was read out for the team at bolton -
