  2. In what way? This "home advantage" mindset has been around for as long as I can remember. Has it always been this way?
  3. Doesn't Robbie Keane support every team he's about to sign for!?
  4. He's been shite this season hasn't he. If we go up and went for him, he'd end up being a Duff type signing.
  5. I actually knew fuck all about Moses until Palace got put into administration.
  6. Our first and foremost target is promotion this year, this guy won't have cost a lot, nor will he be on large wages. He's in form in the same division we're in so it's hardly a move that makes no sense. If we go up, and our striking options aren't addressed in the summer, then there'll be a problem.
  7. Someone should alert half the premiership of our bid then - he must have passed them by. Give it a break mate, I'm stating fact. Did I say you weren't? He must be good if he's our third choice. No, you didn't, but I also didn't say he was or wasn't any good.

  10. I've seen neither Moses nor Best play, but Best has more goals than Moses this year.
  11. aye, when shola develops a good touch. I was referring to the lazy part more than anything....
  12. Just text my mate who's a Coventry fan asking what he's like. Said he has a good touch, physical... lazy cunt! He'll fit right in with Shola then...
  13. What makes this a panic buy by the way? We've not got our primary target, we need a striker, so we've looked at a player that's scored a decent number of goals this year. Who, after failing to get our main targets would be considered not a panic buy? If we'd bought an over the hill striker for cheap, living off past achievements, I'd call that a panic buy, not a young player who wants to prove himself. As I said above, I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him play a couple of games.
  14. 9 goals in 15 for Coventry is pretty decent considering how they're doing this year, but his record prior to this season looks poor. I've not seen him play so I'll reserve judgement until he's had a couple of games.... if he signs.
