I must admit the general mood around here hasn't been half as bad as I thought it would be. I guess looking at it realistically, this has been coming for a while now. I even said to my mate months ago that we'll probably look back on this season in a few years and wonder how we ever thought we'd stay up when so many monumental fuck up's have been made.

Me too. It might not be 15 on more than 50k. But the fact is that there have been too many overpaid, under performing, injury prone players in the squad. Absolutely agree, but the OP asked if there were 15 players earning more than £50k

I personally can't see us having 15 players on more than 50K a week, I might be wrong though.

Funnily enough I care about more defenders staying than any other position. It may well be because it's fairly obvious Martins and Jonas won't be hanging around, I couldn't give two shits about Michael Owen, and the rest of the team is in the "meh" to "wank" category. I'd be fairly optimistic of a return to the Premiership if Beye, Bassong, Taylor, Enrique was our back four next year. Doubt it will happen though.

Non crossing? I can understand the criticism of his inability/confidence in himself to beat a man, or even the inaccuracy of his crosses, but he does actually get a fair few crosses in. I personally think he'd do well for us next season and am happy he's said he'll stay. He's been one of our better players this second half of the season. He'd need to take a pay cut though.

Duff has been one of our better players recently (although its not saying much). I think he could do quite well next year for us.

I get the impression from his interview that him staying on rests on the assurances he may/may not get from Ashley. The only way I'd be even remotely optimistic of us coming back is if Shearer stayed on. If we're playing Championship football with Kinnear in charge we are fucked, and we won't be back for a long time.

I can't get over the lack of effort. If we'd have gone down with some fight I might have had some sympathy for the odd player, but they can all fuck off for all I care.

Well I was gutted that we didn't get anything out of this game seeing as its the first time I've been to SJP in 4 years. I haven't read through this thread, but from what I saw I think we were unlucky not to have drawn. We certainly had a couple of chances and some good pressure. At times in the second half it was quite infuriating as it looked like we were afraid to shoot, particularly Duff (who I thought had a pretty decent game). Couple of things I did notice that is harder to notice on TV though was how fucking shite Martins' movement is. I honestly think I have better movement off the ball than him, and I play Sunday league. He wasn't bad when the ball was at his feet though, and was unlucky not to have scored/should have scored one or two. I also noticed we looked particularly stretched at times (even with 11 men), and invited cross field balls from Fulham. Our general positioning was pretty poor. From what I saw Bassong had to go. He had two attempts at getting the player and got him the second time around. Fucking stupid seeing as he's quite quick and might have been able to make up the ground. He's managed to get away with a couple of things like that this season but didn't this time. I wonder what people's opinions of him may have been had this happened early in the season. Can only take one thing like that to completely change a players season (Cacapa). Unfortunately Hull got a draw which could be the point that keeps them up, although I think it's very likely that a draw against Villa could be enough to keep us up. I'd be surprised if Hull got anything against Man Utd even though they've won the league. I definitely can't see them winning, although we're fucked even if they draw. I'm glad this season ends next week because regardless of the outcome, I need a break from it. What a horrible season this has been.

I got mine yesterday, pure impulse buy. Coming out of the gym there was a picture of Jonas wearing it so went in and bought it. I must admit I've been a bit oblivious with this, I didnt realise it was out yesterday. The stripes/markings between the stripes are like the 95/96 grandad shirt kit. Other than the sponsor, I quite like it. I've always prefered a more white than black shirt tbh.

That line up looks boring as fuck to be honest.
