Well I was gutted that we didn't get anything out of this game seeing as its the first time I've been to SJP in 4 years. I haven't read through this thread, but from what I saw I think we were unlucky not to have drawn. We certainly had a couple of chances and some good pressure. At times in the second half it was quite infuriating as it looked like we were afraid to shoot, particularly Duff (who I thought had a pretty decent game). Couple of things I did notice that is harder to notice on TV though was how fucking shite Martins' movement is. I honestly think I have better movement off the ball than him, and I play Sunday league. He wasn't bad when the ball was at his feet though, and was unlucky not to have scored/should have scored one or two. I also noticed we looked particularly stretched at times (even with 11 men), and invited cross field balls from Fulham. Our general positioning was pretty poor. From what I saw Bassong had to go. He had two attempts at getting the player and got him the second time around. Fucking stupid seeing as he's quite quick and might have been able to make up the ground. He's managed to get away with a couple of things like that this season but didn't this time. I wonder what people's opinions of him may have been had this happened early in the season. Can only take one thing like that to completely change a players season (Cacapa). Unfortunately Hull got a draw which could be the point that keeps them up, although I think it's very likely that a draw against Villa could be enough to keep us up. I'd be surprised if Hull got anything against Man Utd even though they've won the league. I definitely can't see them winning, although we're fucked even if they draw. I'm glad this season ends next week because regardless of the outcome, I need a break from it. What a horrible season this has been.

I got mine yesterday, pure impulse buy. Coming out of the gym there was a picture of Jonas wearing it so went in and bought it. I must admit I've been a bit oblivious with this, I didnt realise it was out yesterday. The stripes/markings between the stripes are like the 95/96 grandad shirt kit. Other than the sponsor, I quite like it. I've always prefered a more white than black shirt tbh.

Good work. I've just booked tickets and hotel also (which hotel you go for?) and am desperately trying to find a cheap solution to travel from London. I cannot be fucked with bus, I don't want to drive and train journey is fucking extortionate. I also hate flying... Looks like it's going to be extortionate train journey! I went with the Thistle Hotel. Anybody had any experience with it? I looked at the train it's fucking well expensive so I've opted to drive, not going to be fun. I flew from Stanstead before but I've driven from my house to Cornwall quite a few times in the past which is only about 20/30 miles shorter a journey, so I'm gonna firm it.

Outstanding performance from Viduka. When he's like that he's pretty much unplayable. It's sometimes beyond belief how he manages to kill the ball and keep hold of it. Infuriatingly talented.

I got the feeling Martins was going to be dropped anyway. I'd rather he played but he hasn't offered a great deal recently.

If either of ours, or Boro's players have any heart/determination/bollocks, this should be a really good game tonight. If the thought of seeing your teams name above the dotted line at the bottom of the table after being below it for so long isn't enough to get you fired the fuck up then they really need to just quit playing football altogether. Seriously, how good would it feel to see our name above that line. I've honestly been resigned to the fact that we are going to be playing Championship football next season, but now it's in our own hands again, there's some genuine hope. That being said, I'm still expecting to be resigned to being relegated again this time tomorrow. My heart say's we'll win, my head can't see past 1-1.

Viana/Luque rewind - where are they now? Jonas IMO doesn't seem to have a Luque/Viana mentality. He seems like a very determined player at the very least. In a team where he isn't considered by the opposition as the only attacking outlet he would shine. Everyone has been shit this season for various reasons from not being good enough to confidence and off field distractions. There is a fair chunk of players in our team that are capable of a lot more.

Hate to say it, but I think that's us done in the Premiership. Can't fault the effort, they worked their bollocks off and it showed in the last 15 when they tired. We need three points at either Villa or Liverpool now.

We were creating lots of chances though, compared to Pompey who other than a few set pieces havent looked bothered. They're trying to slow the game right down at every opportunity, and try and catch us out. They'll take a point though.
