if you dont like new threads appearing then just out of interest why do you read a forum? Hopefully you can see the difference between one new thread and dozens of repeat threads, all of which contain the same ridiculous speculation concerning things that will never, ever happen. Ok fair enough but to be honest most of what is discussed on here isnt really likely to happen anyway, even the sensible stuff isnt likely to happen because we are newcastle after all!

5. And i'm stil yet to believe that Damien Duff is a Newcastle player. Some blonde Irish bloke whose been utter s*** - aye - i recognise him. If Duff is starting ahead of N'Zogbia week-in, week-out next season - then Roeder wants f****** shot. I would play Duff ahead of N'Zogbia to be honest. N'zogbia has been pretty shit this season as well. The fact that neither have had a consistent run in the team due to injury hasnt helped either of them.

If he pays the last year of his wages surely it wont have anything to do with arsenal will it? Touché. I thought I was falling into some sort of trap there werent sure whether to post or not. Can any player in the last year of their contract buy themselves out of the contract? Would that mean that other teams could just pay for them to get out of their contract rather than paying a larger fee to the club? Im sure its much more complicated than that but was just wondering.

Hard to pick 3 but for now I'll go with: Alan Shearer Rob Lee Craig Bellamy (cunt now tho!) I really liked Hamann when he was here as well.

The thought of Roeder staying for 2-3 seasons actually almost infuriates me. I agree that we need stability but I dont think a stable shit manager is really going to be good for us. I have been in the "lets give him a chance" camp most of the season (up until the 2nd Alkmaar match), but I now think he should go. I think we should get rid of him the moment we become safe (which will probably be after the last game of the season), that way any new manager will have time to build a relationship with the players and plan his spending for the summer.

Oh and I think Given is the best in the prem if not simply because he is the only gk (other than perhaps Friedel actually) that has produced consistently season after season.
