Really can't see him getting it. Especially after Ashley's interview. Even if all the finance stuff was bollocks he said it was up to the board to get a manager. Don't think he'd have said that if Carver was getting it.

He's been more useful than most of our players this season (not saying much). He seems to have found his ability/belief to beat a man again. For a well organised club he would be a decent enough premier league squad player.

We actually weren't that bad to watch today when you remove the nerves.

As a match, relegation issues aside, we battered them. Janmaat and Jonas were superb all game. Anita had a brilliant second half despite his fuck up.

Hero. He was fantastic today, and he's been pretty good overall when he's played this season.

Think he's been miles better than Cisse, who's been atrocious IMO. That said I'd still keep Cisse on.

As a side note, I think his interview pretty much indicated that Carver won't be getting the job whatever happens.
