My mate used my dads (senior) ticket for the final in 2023. He was bricking it but, as it turns out the only thing that security was interested in was to take any drinks or food from you that you may have been carrying in. I took a bottle of water and they said, you don't need to bring that in, it is available inside (at 10X the price).

It can only be the first goal but, it is impossible to say one way or the other that the ball crossed the line. It would have been contentious either way. As it happens the goal was awarded.

You're probably right and they probably will do that again. Frankly speaking - as long as I get a ticket I don't care! Been to all the home games on this cup run so I must end up in one of the first few catagories. I believe each team gets around 33k allocation for Wembley in the League Cup final, which theoretically means that a season ticket holder who has attended most or all of the games in the cup run should have a high chance of being able to go. I got one last time and I missed one of the home games because I bloody forgot to order my tickets. At Wembley my seat was down behind the goal, wouldn't mind being higher up and a bit further back this time!

For a game like this they cannot use away loyalty points as a criteria - surely. Your suggestion would seem the most reasonable and from a personal perspective would put me into pot 3. Applied for the away games in the ballots (unsuccessfully) as desperate to get some points to add to my current total of .... 1.

The problem I foresee for the crowd tomorrow is the nervousness. The team really need to come out strongly to get the crowd settled, a nervy display from the team will be amplified to the crowd.

Why did I read this as Matt Targett: set to sign for Leeds United Women?

I was raging at that. As clear a penalty as you will ever see!!

I can see why the club won't sell more season tickets. If the decision is to redevelop St James' then they will need to re sit ticket holders who are in areas effected by the works. The fewer the number then the easier of a task it would be. If we are moving, then the logistics of having season ticket holders visit the new stadium to select their new seat will be a huge task as well. ( assume that would happen, my Spuds supporting mate had the chance to visit their new stadium to choose where he would like to sit. )

I think for sure they have the best chance for years of being promoted but, they have basically no revenue, can't imagine how they can invest the money they make from being promoted and stay on the right side of the profit and sustainability rules. They could be bought by a huge wealth fund, clearly not middle east though, morals too high. That still wouldn't change the fact they could not spend any money. So being Premier League team would be for just a season. None promoted teams in recent years have done well. I frankly don't care whether they come up or stay down there... the derby match is full of terrible recent memories for me but, come on.... there is a huge gulf between us now. They cannot catch up... let's just accept they are a good team in a rotten Championship and when they do come up to the Premier League they will find out that maybe they couldn't give PSG a game after all....

Probably build a statue with a massive cock as a tribute!!

Is it too much for them to consider that the reason teams we are playing against look poor it is because we make them look poor with our play style? Above the bottom 3 or 4 in the Premier League all the teams are bloody good and would have no problem sweeping aside any team from the Championship....

Newest excuse.... Tyneside is 3 x the size of Wearyside. There is no surprise NUFC get more fans.

Haha, I do not know anyone who talks in the way that idiot is quoting.... Of course I do not have any "Mag at work friends" as I work from home.

He's been a good servant to the club over the years and provided us with some excellent moments but, sadly now the prospect of him returning to first team reconing is completely shrouded by the absolute certainty that it would last 1 or 2 games max before he is injured or "feeling something" again. He must realise now that - as a top level player - he is basically finished. His body cannot cope with the demands upon it. Shame!

The defence seems to play loads better with Dubs in goal, the fact that he can receive the ball and kick it like a human being rather that some kind of alien species must be very reassuring to the back 4.

Anyone have any idea (experience from last time) about booking access to the Boxpark? When we were at the final a couple of years ago it was impossible to get a beer anywhere near to Wembley Stadium. We had to go into the ground when it opened at ~2pm and pay 9quid a pint....

I have just booked train and hotel first thing this morning. I hate doing things like this before our passage to the final is guaranteed but, the prices are already high and the trains have quite limited availability from what I could see.

There is already some considerable building activity right next to the Arena site (on the other side of the road. I have a feeling this one is dead in the water as an option.
