I bought a seated ticket, I asked the girl in the box office how they were selling and the response was "steady" meaning (in my opinion) very slowly.

It is only around 3hrs drive from Newcastle to Peterborough. My office is there and since the roundabouts have been lifted from the A1 it is a very easy drive. Definately going myself, I already planned to be in Peterborough that week anyway!

East Stand is always a pig to get in if you leave it too late. I always aim to be there around 10min before kick off but, generally still just manage to get in as the players are coming out on the field.

I have voted to keep him on the poll, he will do really well in the Championship and regardless of the wages, which are high I know, we need to keep some experience in the side as most of the other experienced players seem to be heading out one by one! In this league we need to have good service for the forwards and a midfield who can chip in with a goal or two, he is about as good as we have at the moment so unless the money is to be used to bring in an equivalent or better replacement on lower wages I say keep.

Spurs announced last Friday that agreement had been reached for Bassong's transfer. The FA's deadline to get him registered prior to Newcastle's game was 5pm Friday. He wasn't registered until after that time so technically he was still Newcastle's player when Newcastle played West Brom. As he was still a Newcastle player for the West Brom game, he couldn't play because he was still suspended. He never played, the second match suspension was satisfied and so he is eligible to play against Liverpool next Sunday.
