  1. I don’t know the numbers but I guess we could probably triple or quadruple our matchday revenue with more tickets, better facilities, better retail, more corporate etc.
  2. Without Staveley on the scene I'm a bit less confident of a fan-focused decision, but hopefully she left a big post-it with NEE OOT OF TOON on everyone's desk.
  3. Depending on the location. TBH it’s really been hitting home the last few weeks how sad it would be to move. Its the most regular I’ve been at matches so I’m getting more attached to SJP than ever. I’d still be in favour of a move if it’s to the right place and gets us a massive capacity so they can sell more season tickets. But can’t deny I’ll shed a tear or two.
  4. I would like to thank Wimbledon for not trying to beat us.
  5. Bunce looks like he’s going to sixth form college.
  6. Same with the caveat that any new site must be in or touching the city centre. Out of town stadium is absolute no.
  7. Yeah I think the three points link together, you can’t have violent conduct without any violence.
  8. Absolutely not, I would be calling Schar a diver.
  9. Yeah exactly, that’s why I can’t see any option which involves closing SJP.
  10. I suppose there was no audience for NUFC content until the takeover.
  11. I can't see us taking an option where we can't play at SJP, because Sunderland is the only realistic alternative ground. More like an option to close one stand at a time. The whole thing is fucking difficult, mainly why I thought a new stadium is the most likely. Especially on a site that can be worked on without affecting SJP.
  12. A lot of those seats could be extremely lucrative corporate areas, I guess.
  13. But Schar didn't 'strike' the guy with his head anyway, he touched heads and the other guy dived to the ground.
  14. It's better for me, I've been to every game. But I still think 100% ballot is the fairest option. Fairness isn't the only consideration of course.
  15. Reads a bit like he just doesn’t enjoy victories.
  16. I'm not too concerned about the time TBH, it's a massively long term project anyway. The timing of the Euros might also play a part, I guess.
  17. Can't imagine how it would work logistically or what capacity they can reach, but it would be interesting to hear the plans.
  18. I mean, football managers aren’t famous for liking maverick individuals.
  19. The ballot’s just a punt now they’ve taken so many tickets for general sale. You may as well enter but you can’t expect to get one.
  20. I feel like we’ll batter Everton with the lineup we have available now.
  21. Yeah I mean because I was buying the shirt at the same time.
  22. Still feel it’s a bit unfair that people who know ST holders have a much bigger chance of attending away games. But practically it doesn’t matter to me personally. Pointless worrying about it when the supply of tickets is so tiny.
  23. My regret at not ordering the hoodie is immense. Just couldn’t bring myself to drop £170.
  24. I think we have unrealistic expectations TBH. I can't remember a time when the atmosphere was consistently amazing, it depends on the wider situation. and what's happening in the game. I couldn't get a ticket regularly in the peak 1990s times, maybe that was better. But I can definitely remember, for example, the crowd doing a lot of groaning and being quite difficult for the home players during the bad times.
