Interesting to see our wage bill is now so low...similar to Stoke, Everton, Fulham. Football shirts arn't a piece of fashion, they are a shirt you wear on a match day with pride and passion and to show who you support, where you come from and what you bleed. Anyone thinking football shirts are a piece of fashion need a word with themselves. There needs to be some reason to buy a new one, surely? Maybe the person likes the shirt? Of course, but I was responding to a post that suggested it wasn't about what the shirt looked like.

I'm sure there is an element of TalkSport people being told to be controversial and get people listening/calling/talking about them. I know a couple of people they've brought over from 5 Live who used to be quite reasonable.

Well you sort of answered your own question there. Anyway, he might have just got the qualifications because he thought he might want to be a manager. If he's serious about it he's wasting his time on MOTD... he should be managing a League Two team and learning his trade. TBF though he might just be taking a career break for a couple of years, I don't know.

To be fair, I wouldn't play for Man City for much less than £75k when there are players walking around on double that.
