Yeah, my preferred route for next season would be to bring Forster back and make him #1 from the start, and find a good loan for Krul. We could always bring Harper back if Fraser turns out not to be up to it. That said, I've never actually seen Forster play so I'm going purely on the fact he's completed a whole season for Celtic.

Hopefully it's just Pards bigging him up for the role so he's competent when we play him there next season. What a pointless argument, it's far too early to know where his final position will be, based on what we've seen so far. He's always played as an LM for the U-18s and reserves. Only started playing at LB when Jose got injured. Selling Jose and expecting Ferguson to fill in there for the whole season would be ridiculous. I agree, FWIW I didn't know he's always been LM for the youth/reserves.

I, on the other hand, fail to understand why so many are quick to condemn him - like they never made mistakes in their lives? I think he'll make the grade as a player, don't know about as a person but he has time on his side for both. Exactly!

Happy to let him go back to Celtic as long as it's only a loan. No way we should be letting him go permanently, and I'm sure we won't.

I don't know much about his past signings TBH, but at a glance at his wiki page he signed Reo Coker, Zamora and Etherington for West Ham. As well as Benayoun and Dean Ashton, who would have been class apart from injuries. Even Harewood was alright for them IIRC.

I agree, but it's not really his fault if something that was private is made public by the tabloids. Saying that, he obviously is a role model and needs to learn that any photo/video/recording can get out these days. Hopefully he'll learn from this experience and not pose for any gangster photo shoots in future.
