I really want Reading to get promoted now it's them or the Welsh. Sadly I think they missed their chance in the first leg.

Loan Ameobi out? Heresy!!
-
Yep, it's easy to say he was forced into playing the kids, but he seems to be genuinely enthusiastic about them.
-
Excellent post IMO. Agree with all you say. Same, and this gun thing seems like absolutely nothing to me anyway.

I was positive about Pardew when he was appointed, Hughton didn't deserve to go but that's a separate issue. I rated him at West Ham (can't really remember why though) and he's turning out to be good so far. He has made a few mistakes but he's learned from them fairly quickly... doesn't seem too set in his ways to adapt and try new things. Fingers crossed for a good summer of cockney wheeling and dealing. Hopefully more of the buying than the selling.

Yep, it's simple now anyway, just beat West Brom.

Aye, that would be brilliant. Don't know if he can even jog mind, would be ironic if we made his injury worse by bringing him on for an ovation. -
Also, presumably those quotes were given to Scottish media, and not direct to the Chronicle. Total non-story really, wish they didn't try to make something out of nothing all the time. Just print "Foster happy with SPL season" or something like that - give it the bland headline it deserves.
-
That article doesn't justify that headline TBH, yet again.

Actually that whole Man City game is a good shout. I couldn't believe what I was seeing - totally robbed and our most exciting new signing injured for the season.
-
I'd be tempted to put him on the right, or at least bring him on for Loven there in the second half.

I witnessed it, it was everything I dreamed it would be. -
Overall reflections Very respectable season, although obviously with massive ups and downs. All I wanted was not to be shitting myself in April/May, and the team have delivered that. If it wasn't for the extreme lows (especially for me the Carroll sale) I would put the season down as excellent. High moment Tiote's goal was immense and probably the best few seconds, but I'm going to say the Villa thrashing. For me it was when we proved that we could compete back in the Premier League and the season to come wasn't just going to be a long succession of disappointments and defeats. Low moment Without a doubt the Carroll sale... I refused to believe he would go up until the last second. Terrible feeling and I'll never feel the same about a player again, he proved that it's impossible to be certain any player has a loyalty to their club. The blessing is he hasn't done anything since. Best player For consistency I would say Colocinni. Tiote runs him close. Best Individual Performance Hard one, I don't remember individuals as much as I should. For a memorable performace, have to go for Ben Arfa v Everton. Best Buy As everyone has said, could turn out to be Ben Arfa but at the moment it's Tiote. Most Improved I would go with Simpson, as he started from a very low base IMO and has come on a lot. Barton has also been his best ever for us, but we knew he had it in him all along.

I haven't seen the article or the photo, does anyone know when the photo is from? Bit of a non-story if it's two years ago.

The one to the right in Lens colors Thanks, I also didn't know what colour Lens played in. im dumb, if you knew which colors Lens play in you would probably not asked which one Varane was. Correct, let's just agree we're both idiots.

It depends whether we ultimately want to keep him IMO. I wouldn't want him to go back to Brighton again and consider himself a Brighton player. Obviously if we ultimately want to sell him to them then fair enough.... but personally I would send him somewhere else if he's going out on loan.
-
Pretty hopeful that he's actually going to be good for us. Obviously wasn't fully fit yesterday but totally understandable and he did OK.

Who is the absolute cretin commentating on this Arsenal game?
