I think Taylor has got worse while he's been out TBH, it wasn't too long ago he was talked about at least in the same bracket as Dawson and Upson, players who are regularly getting in the England squad. I don't know how our wage structure has changed recently, but if the club are happy to offer him somewhere in the region of £50k a week then I'd be happy for him to sign that deal.

I always wondered why we don't have an equivalent publication like these in English, a regular dedicated sports paper that comes out regularly. I don't speak Italian or French that well, but I always get the impression that they have a pretty high standard of commentary and content. Can anyone who is fluent enough to tell confirm that? Would love to see a publication like that it the UK, we have stuff like FourFourTwo, but it comes out too rarely to be topical. Wonder whether there's a market for it, maybe even just a digital edition?

I just think the red card idea would never work, because referees would then have to 1000% sure in order to call a dive. I'd much rather see bans being handed out following reviews of video evidence after the game. That would soon stamp out diving as well.

This is a good point for sure, he needs to play up front for solid amounts of time. As you say though, the problem is that we can't loan him out.

You could have said that in any of the last 10 seasons to be honest, we all that Shola isn't actually that good most of the time.

That's the main issue I see with Jonas. Sometimes I just wish he would play the ball back to Enrique and run in behind the defender more often. He doesn't seem to enjoy running without the ball anywhere near as much as he does with it. Not sure if he has been given specific instructions though, maybe he has.

He could end up like anything, it's impossible to tell. But at the moment he looks brilliant, so lets enjoy it.

True, I was thinking that we didn't have much option other than to play like we did, we can't expect to press Chelsea frantically for 90 minutes. They were always very likely to score, but we did threaten ourselves at times as well, very good result in the end.
