    Llambias

Don't think he's getting away with it really. Personally, I just think of Ashley and Llambias as two heads on one hideous club-destroying monster. Whoever is making the decisions, they are evil.
  3. Mourinho's mobile is switched off at the moment, he's worried he won't be able to resist Mike Ashley's Jedi mind tricks.
  4. Houllier should be available in a few weeks.
  5. Surely sacking a manager can make the difference between 13th or 18th? Otherwise, what's the point of them?
  6. You'd like to think they realise a manager with "more experience" will cost more money. Thing is, we're at the point now where nothing they say or do can be talked about with anything approaching normal logic. It all just defies sense, it's like every decision is calculated to be as insane and damaging as possible.
  7. Exactly mate, total nonsense. Hughton could have been the next Fergie for all we know. We're never going to develop young English managers if things like this happen to them. I'm right behind the LMA in objecting to this, it's scandalous. So sick of clubs chossing from the same old pool of managers over and over again.
  8. I just want a banner that says "why Mike, why?" Or "What have we done to deserve this?"
  9. Not much in that article from .com really, don't see the point they're making. If Hughton's problem was that he was a 'yes man', then why was that? And why would Ashley now appoint someone who isn't one? Are we supposed to believe he's now ready to spend the money needed to move us into the European places and is just looking for the right manager to give the cheque book to?
  10. I would advise everyone not to listen to these, left me totally fuming at the sheer outrageousness of the situation.
  11. Same, my basic feeling was that they had learned their lesson from the Keegan debacle and they were keeping their heads down and letting CH get on with it. How wrong can you be.
  12. Sadly none of Ashley's decisions have been made with anything like the logic you suggest, the man's a mong.

    Alan Pardew

I will support him as much as I can, once I've got over the shock of today and can face thinking about football again. But do I think he would be a good appointment? Nah.
  14. The way he made NUFC seem almost like a normal football club.
  15. There's absolutely no chance that Ashley made this decision with a successor lined up IMO.
  16. If a decent manager comes, then what will be the outcome? Ashley leaves him to it, backs him with money, rides out the blips along the way? Not a fucking chance.
  17. Seek professional help as soon as possible. Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of.
