Exactly what I was thinking of!

HUGHTON IN NAZI SALUTE SHOCKER!!!!
-
Turned into trouble a couple of times today, but I'm guessing that will go as he adjusts to the pace of the league. Overall very impressive again, and has liberated the rest of the team a lot.
-
They must be a nightmare to play against. Combined with Nolan popping up in the box it's a handful for any defence. Two proper Geordies up front as well, that's pretty rare.
-
To be fair to Ashley, presumably he appointed Hughton partly because he thought he would always be happy with these short-term deals. Another bit of naivety from the fat man. Sure they'll be able to come to a compromise though, even offering CH an improved deal will be much less expensive and risky than looking for someone else.
-
Agreed, never thought I'd say that though! Still think he shouldn't be written off long term... he can improve IMO.
-
The only thing he can do now is get a suit made out of pure gold.
-
his comments pre game were disgraceful What did he say? http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/208534/NEWCASTLE-UNITED-v-SUNDERLAND-Supermac-turns-up-the-heat-on-Hughton? What an absolute nob.

Think this basically sums up the situation at the moment.
-
They write what they want anyway man, even clubs who haven't got Ashley's stinking record have stuff made up about them. You can't win either way... comment or no comment.
-
One goal doesn't, but this team isn't good enough to drop a 1 goal in 2 player this season. His record was about 1 in 3 last season. It'll be 1 in 4 this time round. That would make him one of the most prolific midfielders in the league though. I don't rate him, but the problem we have is that his potential replacements aren't doing anything.
-
Especially if he keeps wearing that suit. Basically this is a total non story, the fact it has gained so much coverage says much more about the press than it does about Hughton or his position.
-
I used to watch him quite a bit for Reading, he looked class then. Then he committed career suicide by going to Chelsea... it's amazing what a couple of seasons hardly kicking a ball can do. Not to mention feeling you're inferior to everyone around you.

I know, clearly Ali has missed his calling as a fascist dictator. -

So will Carroll. Probably twice. -
Very surprised to see him talking about management. Doesn't come across as someone who cares about football enough to dedicate another 20 years to it.

Usual atmosphere in the LC is about as good/better than our away following from what I can tell. Disagree... it's brilliant when things are going for us, but it turns against the team much more easily than the away fans.
-
Think you might be onto something there... it's actually the most sensible explanation I can think of.
