Brilliant interview with Downey, bet there are very few assistant managers who could step into the limelight as seamlessly as Tindall has done. In a way it worked out perfectly for him, mainly because of his own patience and professionalism obviously. He’s now going down as a trophy winner and legend for NUFC and might be talked about as the best defender we ever had. Who knows what would’ve happened if he’d left to fight for a place at a more successful club.
