I just think it’s strange to invent a new and complicated approach to something which is already really easy for the attacker.
-
I try not to moan at him in the ground. I did say that about Murphy, but if there’s anyone here who believed he could reach the levels he’s at now I would like to meet them. Possibly Eddie Howe is the only man alive who thought that.

Barnes is someone who efficiently generates shots and goals. He's the opposite of a luxury player.

I know what you mean but I think our mentality is better than that now. We won't lose just because we're due a loss. We may lose because they outplay us, but I wouldn't put the percentage chance of that very high. It's a tough game but we'll be well in it. -
I can't make my mind up on him, he looks elegant but does make a fair amount of mistakes.
-
I really like how he speaks now, he's honest but tough at the same time. You can see how he's a good foil for Howe.

Don't want to experience a defeat ever again, thank you. -
They maybe bought into the narrative that Will Hughes always does well against us.

IIRC I never really felt the need to doubt him due to the simple logic of the situation. He was always going to be given the season at least, and therefore he was always going to turn it around. With a worse ownership I would've been worried they would pull the trigger on him early, but I knew the club wouldn't do that.

If we beat Villa I would take it TBH.

Some boy to come in first, be a hero and still manage a redemption story arc at the end. Classic script writing
-
I don't get this at all. It's nothing personal, he's just not very good at football.
-
Posting it every week but I'm ecstatic with how well he's finishing the season. I really hope he stays for next year, since he won't have to play every game.
-
I mean, signing him to replace Longstaff was one of the first big moves we made. No coincidence we identified a weakness and a top, top quality solution.
-
Imagine if we finish 2nd man.
-
It was a decent atmosphere, there was a weird period when we went completely silent but generally people were trying.
-
Aye, he does do step-overs, bad example
-
He's pap, always has been, but I respect how hard he's worked during a really grim time for the club. I think his career has already peaked with playing in the PL really, but Yorkie is right that he could maybe find more comfort playing in a slower league away from the limelight.
-
I thought he was playing really well when he came off, another example of how these stupid bans for bookings are bad for the game and for fans.
-
It is illegal to stop I think, they just make it look like they're still moving forward.
-
True but I think it happened before that. Part of the approach to the final was to shed that old mindset.

And his movement and balance is very fluid, he moves brilliantly with the ball. Efficiency is the best word for him really, he never seems to do anything unnecessary. Even when he decided he needed to go down the outside and shoot with his wrong foot, he did it quickly and cleanly.
