Maybe Cordero had sepsis and needed to be signed before it got worse. -

I've no doubt we'll go all out for a win here, then just a draw with Villa to prevent them catching up would be amazing. Win here is everything, we can't look beyond that. -
I heard Ugarte was good before he came to England.

I feel it's insane given the position we'll be in if we beat Palace, and the fact they are extremely strong in CM/#10. Beating Palace is everything right now. -
Isak’s gone 2 games without scoring.
-
The fact Mason Mount can’t find a cool haircut is telling IMO.
-
He’s not box-to-box, he’s touchline to touchline.
-
Not sure he was half arsed, he just can’t run.
-
Nobody will ever convince me that it wasn’t a coincidence that we were playing better with Longstaff.
-
I assumed it was calculated mathematically like, aye. I would guess all of the shots taken in the league versus how many scored and didn't? I'll watch the video at some point.

Pardon? -
Gordon was extremely unlucky to be sent off like, I don’t think he did anything to himself. They’re both class players so it’s all good. Would be interesting if we ended up with half the England starting XI at any point.
-
I think Gordon is more suited to the right than Barnes. Barnes is all about threatening the goal.
-
I don’t know how it works but I assume it doesn’t factor in where the GK and defenders are. Like, you could have a chance on that same spot and have a keeper in front of you and defenders trying to block it. Dunno.

Is football the only industry where the word gaffer is still used?
-
Even in the first half we could've scored 3 or 4.
-
The ball he delivered for the goal was ridiculous for a fullback crossing with his wrong foot. Not many players would even attempt it.
-
Same feelings, I love tiki-taka and sometimes I would like us to play with more possession. But that's the beauty of football I suppose, there's multiple ways to play well and win. What you want is a clear evidence that the manager has a plan and it's playing out on the pitch. A bit like Rafa, I could never fall in love with the style of football but it was very evident that the team was incredibly well prepared for every game.

I thought after the cup final we might sometimes get Burn to try and score instead of always going for the back post Mike Williamson special.
-
It's hard to know who's taking the piss here.
-
Refs are unfairly targeting him now IMO, and denying him free kicks that other players would get. Guess you could say he brought it on himself, if you're being harsh. Don't think he did it much today though, he was fairly tidy.
-
Yeah, he went down and looked like he pulled something, but I guess it was a scrape or someone stood on the back of his leg. I was genuinely thinking season over at that point
-
Absolutely, and the club/management deserve it because of the impeccable way they managed the situation. And a bit of credit to (most of) the fans as well.
-
There's genuinely no point in bringing him on now IMO, unless we think Osula will score a 40-yard own goal or something.
-
Yeah, I can still only see us going inverted but it will be nice to have Murphy as an option still. And Tino will run riot down the right like he's now doing on the other side. Can't see us buying a right-footed RW at all, even though the point is interesting.
