Some of the players that came in under Ten Hag literally made no sense. Just so slow and weak.

TBF to Casemiro I don’t think he’s overweight, he just can’t run.

I say this a lot but his game intelligence is unmatched for me. Not just understanding where the ball will be on the pitch and where he needs to be, but also understanding the wider situation, the context of the game and how he can influence it. Really big football brain.

I did say to certain extents

Admittedly I don’t watch many full 90s but he just always seems to try really hard and make some good movements. Maybe he attacks too much like you say.

I’m not saying I’d want them here but I rate Yoro, Dalot, Garnacho, Mazraoui, Zirkzee and obviously Fernandez to certain extents. Shaw if he was ever fit. They just don’t have the right balance of ingredients and the right culture to make a winning team and the have a very non-competitive midfield.

He got a good connection on that one that Bayindir saved as well. Slightly unlucky.

I know, but you could see a foul happening, let the corner be taken and then give it once the ball is in play. Just seems like he’s helping Man Utd by pointing out that they’re fouling in the box. Feels odd.

Not just the push, he was constantly being fouled. Slightly weird situation IMO, you could argue the referee should let the corner be taken and then give the foul. But I dunno what the rules are.

I still don’t fully get how a guy got a yellow for multiple fouling Schar in the box and it wasn’t a pen.

Barnes runs very well with the ball and drops the shoulder on people excellently as well. I don’t really see any value in comparing him to Salah though.
