I’m not clear on how groups of 2 will work in the new system. Before you needed to win 2 seats together to win. Now you could win in the ballot but not get online in time to sit together? In a way it’s better if you can take a punt on a group of 2 and still go if you can’t sit together. But then I’m not clear how it affects your chances of winning.

I despised Klopp as Liverpool manager but I would be tempted by him for England. If the aim is to take the game to people and press the life out of them. Might end up a short-lived experiment though, if we don't win a trophy in the next two tournaments (which we probably won't no matter who the manager is). For this reason I expect them to appoint a sensible continuity candidate like Carsley.
