Did people set their goals for the season based on having everyone injured?

I think the Gallowgate is very heavily season ticket, isn’t it? I’ve never got a ballot ticket there ever. I was sat near a guy who had obviously been in the same seat for decades. Turned up mortal 10 mins late, left early for HT and left 10 mins early to get back to the club for a couple more pints It’s not to do with the type of fan. That said, allowing singers (ST and ballot) to group together is probably the only way to save it. FWIW there was little signing were I was but the ‘atmosphere’ was very lively. It was just more standing and shouting stuff than singing songs

I think having a plan B means having different ways to play in different scenarios and opponents etc. I don’t think it means having much of a plan of what to do if your whole team is out injured. I don’t think any manager spends much time on that incredibly unlikely scenario. He can’t change the philosophy he is trying to implement because of something that’s temporary. We could play more compact, sit deep and just park everyone to try and grind out results, but I can’t imagine we would be on any more points than we have now. This season is a freak, we just need to enjoy the rest of the games and start fresh next time.

During the game I was thinking he was playing well… making saves and passing the ball around well. Particularly some good passes to the fullbacks. Not sure about the second goal, only seen one replay but it was hit very early and very well. Slip a nightmare obviously.

I thought it was a weird game, I enjoyed it for a lot of the time. Thought Dubs was having a good game and then let in two soft goals. Miley was playing well but also getting bypassed quite often. A strange one. Took heart from the fact that a similar performance with a handful of better players will lead to comfortable wins in these games next season.

True but we are still 7th and Isak and Willock will be coming into the picture soon. Could get better from here on in.

All the midfield are a bit slow, having the three together is always going to be vulnerable. Sadly we have no other options.

Not so long ago people criticising Burn would getting absolutely hammered for questioning this key part of our best defence. Times change eh.

Wilson is a blow but not a decisive blow. We can adapt for a game or two as long as a Gordon is available. Can’t help but think Bruno will decide this one again.

Also we do have a player in the position that Howe trusts in the short term, albeit fans don't always agree. I think it's a fairly normal situation, I really hope Hall comes good.
