Honestly think he’s my favourite ever newcastle player behind Shearer. Just a shame it’s along with the tragedy that it never worked out for him. He was actually at exactly the right club to become a superstar. Just with the wrong owner and managers.

The players are pretty strong in their teams like, and this is the most technically gifted generation we’ve maybe ever had. Of course the likes of De Bruyne are the best players in their clubs, but those other players don’t all come from the same country.

Jurgen Klinsmann, not sure why I started following him but I just found him a really great player to watch. Scored all sorts of goals and moved very elegantly around the pitch. Andy Cole for Newcastle, my class at school was actually stopped when he was sold so we could find out if it was true on the radio Taking the Cole poster down was painful.

Extremely tiresome True Faith podcast this week. Basically Chris Waugh and Mick Martin making up things to worry about, based on absolutely no knowledge at all. Started OK with a review of what the owners have done so far, but the section about the future was a bit silly.
