TBH if anyone doubts him now then I have no idea what they want in a manager or who they think could do this job any better. Very pleased for him because I thought there was a possibility the negative talk and momentum would become too much and he would get sacked too quickly. But TBH I never really believed it would happen until the summer even in the worst case. Therefore he always was going to get the rest of this season at least, and therefore he would fix it.

I don't really see anything about SJP specifically which contributes to the atmosphere. Like people have said, it's to do with who goes to the match and where they're able to sit. TBH I sometimes don't know what we even mean when we talk about the atmosphere we actually want. I'm 40 and I can't really remember a time when SJP was consistently loud throughout a game. Except for the very special moments like PSG etc.

But how can you be livid at something that’s not an offence? You can be angry at the bad luck, yes, but that’s it. You can’t say it wasn’t fair or the decision was wrong, because it was correct. Or you can say the rules need to be changed in future, but then that’s not what he said.

The yellow card for stopping a counter has definitely become less common. Not sure if it’s a directive but it used to be basically automatic.

Even the Burn one was debatable to me, looks like it strikes him at or above the tshirt line which is not handball.
