Yeah, makes no sense, half the time fans don't even know what's going on. Penalties for red cards are way too harsh in general IMO. Especially when violent conduct is used for things that aren't violent.
-
No idea why people do that. No idea why people share it.
-
I think if you had to build a team of us and Forest or us and Bournemouth, both would be about 50/50. Our stars are better but people like Murphy, Schar, maybe even Burn probably wouldn’t make the team.
-
Worst thing about him is the dramatic finger wagging when he decides to ignore a blatant foul.
-
Why would he leave them on the bench if they’re a star player?
-
That’s meaningless. Deliver what? And in what circumstances?
-
I can remember being confused why everyone around me was sitting in silence about 20 years ago. I don’t know if things have got worse recently. Certainly not since the takeover.

I don’t know how many people get in via ballot but I’m estimating half of the general sale tickets. So maybe 10k. And maybe 50-75% of those are long term fans who just don’t have a ST. So maybe you’re looking at 3-5k ‘randomers’ scattered around the ground. For general sale you have to put in a lot of work, so I guess those people would qualify as decent fans?

Yeah, my hope is that he progresses next season with a technical RW coming in.
-
I've been pretty disappointed with Tino TBH, maybe my expectations were too high. His defending is solid but he's so average going forward. That said, we won't change him so I'm hoping we get a chance to see him play with a proper technical RW next season.

The only way to really improve the atmosphere would be to create multiple singing sections and shuffle the entire crowd around. While I would like to see it, I can't imagine any football club doing that when people have bought their seats and had them for decades. Or for the team to be better. I may be wrong but I imagine everyone except us thinks our atmosphere is brilliant. Especially people in executive roles. I get very annoyed when people suggest some mythical ST better fans should control who goes to the match because they are the old guard atmosphere masters. It's absolute nonsense.
-
Ah right, I get that but there's no justification for allowing ST holders to buy extra tickets when they're in such short supply. There's no reason at all that they should control all the home tickets as well as all the away tickets. Are we arguing that ST holders and their mates are the key to a great atmosphere? It makes no sense, 30k or more of them are in the ground now. I don't get it.

Who had membership taken away?
-
I like Barnes as I said yesterday, he can look a bit silly in certain situations because he's not particularly strong or athletic physically. But he's a great dribbler and runner, and can shoot off both feet. I don't think we're in a position where we can afford to write him off. Jacob Murphy is starting games FFS.
-
Could we have brought him off or not? I assumed we left him on because we had used all our chances to make a sub. We made 5 subs by 86 mins when Isak went off.
-
What does membership have to do with atmosphere?
-
It's going to be funny to see how bad we rate our own squad while complaining how much better we should be doing.
-
This'll be a quick one. FWIW I think it's possible he could put together one more short spell of form, maybe in a less physical league. But any PL club would be mad to go near him.
-
Hard to decide whether to rest anyone for the final, the chance of winning are low anyway but basically zero without Isak. Three points against West Ham could easily turn out to be more important than the cup final, as sad as that is.
-
Van Hecke himself did a diving rugby tackle on the halfway line.
-
You're absolutely right.

Exactly. Have no idea why people seem to get so much satisfaction in lining up against Gordon. Maybe they basically think of him as a scouse rat or someone with a bad attitude, like they did before he signed. He was extremely unlucky to get a red card for that. Has to be one of the softest red cards of any season.
