Pretty decent when he came on, made mostly the right decisions. Embarrassing from fans to get on his back every time he doesn't just sprint up the line.
-
Definitely his best performance for us, working hard and trying to get in those spaces between midfield and attack. Definitely offers something.

True, but it’s only 15 mins later than 8pm. -
Well the kind of person who would want total control in 2025 is a dinosaur, because they would be working with a completely outdated view of how a football club's recruitment can be done.
-
Equally it could be that those players you mention just didn't get the wrong injuries at the wrong time. Even if it is related to their bodies, that's luck in itself to have a body that is prone to getting hurt. Of course nothing is in a vacuum, players should and do do work to protect themselves from injuries and so do the staff around them. I just think we have this weird way of assigning person blame to people who are injured, which is probably 99% not deserved.

If Howe demands total control he'll never get any higher in management. That's just not how modern football clubs work. Like I've said before, he's a young manager not a dinosaur, maybe people think he's a PFM just because he's English? I can't believe he's that ignorant of the way football is going. It's contrary to what we know about him being an intelligent guy who wants to learn and develop.
-
I thought you were saying he had personally let us down.
-
I think everyone apart from us thinks he's class TBH
-
I don't think you can let anyone down by being injured like, you're not doing it on purpose.
-
It goes both ways I would say, SJP is a hard place to play when you're not doing well. Whether that's team or just individuals... I guess we can carry a couple of bad individual performances as long as the team is winning. If not then the whinging will intensify.

It's a great draw, Fulham are also weakened a bit by AFCON. Wissa starts, crowd reacts to the mackems result by roaring the team to a win. -
No idea what you're talking about here.
-
Mixed window with potential to get better if Elanga remembers how to play. Rating the window when everyone is raging and in a bad mood is probably not the best idea Woltemade is class and Thiaw is class. Wissa not being class is just bad luck. Ramsey is disappointing but has more to give. GK doesn't look much of an improvement but I think Rambo was about 5th on our list if not lower. Given the Isak saga and the amount of players that knocked us back, it was never going to be a great unqualified success.
-
I mean so far they've been crap, surely nobody disputes that.
-
I'm sure the plan was they would be good when they signed like.
-
Well I think the point is to get fewer injuries
-
Bit of a nonsense thing to say, nothing can guarantee against injuries. Especially freak ones like this.
-
Surely it’s the same injury he was already out with?
-
Because of the physical demands I guess.

Third one later rescinded by new VAR implementation. -
Which we knew was the case since we've changed our approach very clearly.
-
I never thought he lacked technical ability before he got here. Being raised in Man Utd academy would suggest he's decent at football. I still think he's just struggling to cope with the move and it's making him tentative. All I've been saying since he came is that he's clearly not as bad as he looks. Question is why and how to fix it.
-
Very small impact on the PL really, for the amount we go on about it.
-
I would've though the vitriol would've peaked on Sunday
