  1. Has the deal fallen through? Haven’t seen anything about it.
  2. I wondered if we still didn’t have a bonus scheme for the players post MA. As you said, £30m between the squad to stay up….

I went for a look because I thought they couldn’t be…absolutely 100%. They’ve deluded themselves into a relationship with Arsenal, two threads on how good their fans were according to AFC vloggers, some shite about AFC and SAFC being proper traditional clubs, respected. Paying their dues to AFC for paying respect to someone from their club who died whilst simultaneously booing players taking the knee ?

Jesus Christ, talk about bigging your self up! “Good on Mikel Arteta .. He didn`t have to, but genuine acknowledgement of our footballing mission within EFL One hoofball division. You could see our players visibly enjoying being able to use real skill for a change. That, without being wiped out by a bruiser even if we slipped up later in the game.” Being in L1 is part of their footballing mission ?. I didn’t realise they were there through choice, I always assumed it’s because they are utter turbo shit and have been for years!
  5. Funnily enough I watched this earlier and found it quite interesting.
  6. Carroll was right, bring Bournemouth to Newcastle.
  7. Any the chippy van coming round every Friday.
  8. Just imagine when they rock up to the training ground and see the ice bins ?
  9. Just announced in principle on SSN

The lucozade bottle survives though ?
  11. It’s a brilliant thing like, brings so much unity to the fans IMO, I was having a look through the website last night. The financial target would be nothing for the club to fund. I think it would help to break down the target into chunks, if we raise this we’re buying that kinda thing. But seriously, it’s a fantastic thing, hats off to all involved. ???
  12. I’m not defending it by the way, just saying how I seen it. Its about perspective IMO, I’d prefer it the way it was rather than watching us getting smashed 7 nil like Norwich, if we’d have opened up, they’d have ripped us to bits at a canter. I don’t like it, but come the end of the season the GD may be needed.
  13. There was only ever one plan, even at 1-0 down there was no urgency to play or win the ball, tactically restricted and the current crop of players don’t have the ability to do anything different (with the exception of 2/3). Personally I think the loss was inevitable, trying to contain Chelsea/minimise the damage was the plan.
  14. Difficult to watch however I personally feel the team worked hard in the first half to contain Chelsea. They looked more organised and more disciplined but without a plan to challenge rather defend. I’m not sure there’s a manager in the world who could have changed the result, there’s a very long road ahead but my overwhelming feeling is that there needs to be a clean slate from top to bottom, all new coaching and management team and a whole new spine of players as a minimum.
  15. I can’t remember the exact quote but essentially they say that you can sell one player for £20m so it makes financial sense to invest in what’s known to be a talented area but also very competitive.
  16. There’s a good Athletic article on YT about their youth philosophy, talks about why and how they’ve just knocked summit like £20m into this.

There was a place in the Grainger Market did them but the owner died and I don’t think it’s opened again since.
  18. There’s a really good interview with Yasir on YT, listening to him speak makes me think that there’s not a lot the EPL could do that he won’t have either thought of or mitigated against.
  19. Even his security detail look happy to be there ?
  20. I don’t think he’ll manage again tbh, by that I mean I don’t think a club will want him not just because of his record but because the whole of his time at NUFC has tarnished what reputation he had. It wouldn’t surprise me if the delay is because he is sticking to his guns and insisting on the full pay off because he knows it’s his last hurrah.
