I have heard that his English is good - picked it up very quickly. 2 or 3 weeks ago Total Sport were saying they would be playing an interview with him during the week but I never heard it. Somehow I don't think the agents will be agreeing to that.

The people running the club (Ashley included) are a bunch of cowards. They will run for cover and will not be heard from for some time.

Saying the players aren't good enough. That's the way to build up confidence. Never his fault though - it's always down to anybody or everything else.

Hull know that nothing less than a win will do whereas with us, a win will guarantee we stay up but we could still stay up with a draw or loss depending on results elsewhere. If Hull get an early lead, I can see us going into panic mode and self-destructing. It all depends on Man Utd's attitude to the game especially if they don't need to win as I just cannot see us saving ourselves.

I wonder how many of those coaches on the short list would be interested in coming to a Championship club. I can see it being Carver by default for that reason because I guess when they did all their "research" back in January, they didn't have a Plan B incase of relegation. They took a month to do their research last time and if they have to do that again, we will be into pre-season by then. Also taking into account that they will have to draw up a new list of players for the Championship so time for research will be very limited.

A boycott would have more of an impact in the Championship as gate receipts will have more significance with less TV money coming up.

I was never aware that we held end of season awards. You hear about these events at other clubs but with us there always seemed to be references to player of the year (or rather last season's POTY) and no official announcement of them. It was never clear how or who voted for them.
