That's exaggerating too far the other way. You are the guy though who thinks Di Maria and Matuidi were separated at birth so don't be surprised at a little incoming People like you intentionally misread my posts. I said out of Motta, Verratti & Matuidi - ADM is most similar to Matuidi. Central to left shuttlers. If you disagree. Please refer to the links I used in the other thread to support my argument and promptly return with an apology. Yah, sure!

    Chancel Mbemba

Undisclosed? "in the region of" imo
  4. We need a CB (Mbemba?) and an left sided forward. Anything more than that (another CB like Matip) and better CM than Tiote/Colback/Anita would be a huge and unexpected bonus.

    Steven Taylor

Obviously, individually Taylor is better than Williamson. Williamson did form a fairly decent partnership with Colo that was ok for a while which is something i've not really seen Taylor do with anyone. Anyway, hope we replace both with better players.

    Chancel Mbemba

Lascelles is meant to be good in the air. I hope Mbemba also has a commanding leap. I do think having a CB who isn't much use at set pieces is a bit pointless.
  7. Weren't we linked to Morgan Sanson once? He really seems like our kind of buy if we're still looking for CMs.

There is an argument for Colo, implying that he's frightened on the pitch isn't really an argument against it. What does that even mean? How is he frightened? What makes you think he's not a leader? He doesn't point his arms and fist pump like Taylor? You rarely see him even talking to other players. Let's be serious here.
  9. It has been all over the London press for the last week. She can't take credit for that. Misogynist.
  10. Dont want to sell, he will be worth more if he does well in the Euro's next summer Ah, right.
  11. What's happened to the Mitrovic rumours? I remember gossip about his lot allegedly asking for a high wage. Anything else i've missed?
  12. I remember reading we have tended to do worse without him. Still, wish we had much better options.

Arsenal, S'hampton, Chelsea & Bayern all play with target men. It doesn't mean you hoof it. Dan Gleebals never said they didn't. Exactly...I swear TCD just says things for the sake of saying them to try and sound clever His post clearly insinuates holding the ball up is a skill especially required for teams that often hoof. Also insinuates passing sides don't need one to a big extent. I demonstrated 4-5 great passing sides that play with a Target Man. But any excuse to have a dig at me eh? Tbf, i didn't get any of those insinuations
  14. There was so much hype about him at one stage - seemed as if everyone was after him - but never gets mentioned these days. Good player though imo. Great 1st touch and awareness. Always looks like he's got time on the ball. Too much hype too early but still a good player in the making.

Wonder where Will Hughes will end up. The one bonus i thought of getting McClaren is that he might lean on them to buy that kid.

    John Carver

The thing that is laughable about it all, is that the same people saying Carver isn't to blame, will be saying we shouldn't have sacked Pardew. So if it's totally the players then you'd have to assume the management didn't matter surely? It just doesn't make any logical sense. These players had a top half finish as a real possibility under Pardew and he was pretty dreadful, so if Carver is competent, the pattern of form should continue. I'd expect a bottom half championship team to have a good shot at getting 9 points from 18 games. Burnley are basically a championship squad and their form is much better than that, so are people really trying to say Carver's squad is worse than Burnley's? The value of management is massively overlooked in the UK and it's still viewed with an air of scepticism, as if skills can be replaced with hard work and graft. The bottom line is that if you have a moron in charge you will fail, no matter how much effort he puts in. We need to work smarter, not harder and it's debatable whether or not Carver is even working hard, but we know he'll never be smart. They understand very well. They just won't criticise a British man in charge. That's it. Lambert was awful for Villa and he rarely got slagged off. Ditto Warnock. It's only the foreign managers or managers of top sides that can constant criticism. Definitely feels like with British Football, there's a horrible undercurrent of Xenophobia running through everything.      not criticising British managers equals xenephobia? The two most popular managers in England are Mourinho and Van Gaal, and the British media turned like savages on Moyes once it became clear he would be sacked. Sorry that they don't criticise Carver, but if a man is trying to hang himself, why would they ask questions and stop the suicide? The more retarded a manager comes across, the more the media will let them go for it. "horrible undercurrent of xenephobia" FFS, do you people think that your outlook is respected? What do you mean "you people"? Top TT reference!
  18. I sort of read that as rhyming slang. 'Newcastle waiting in the Dannys for Burnley goal-buster'

    Ryan Taylor

He's English. He's got the right DNA. He'll know how to roll his sleeves up and put a shift in. The loss would have hurt him more than the foreign lads. Raylor knows what it means to the fans. Blah blah blah. This will be the repeating mantra echoing through Carver's riddled mind.
  20. We're a nothing club in the PL. The least ambitious club in the division.
  21. How will it be better is we stay up?
  22. It's Sports Direct United and whatever 11 shitehouses they put on the pitch will be Sports Direct employees. It's no longer and football club and it's even stopped pretending to be. They just happen to be wearing black and white. I couldn't give a f**k what happens to Mashley's investment.
