What sort of mess would it be? Zero debt, running high profits, loyal fanbase to come running back and endless commercial cash to come without SD all over the place. Sure the squad would need a good boost but most incoming owners like to do that anyway. Honestly dont see why he would sell now unless someone offers a hell of an amount, its only going to make more money for him. Mess as in the first team is a joke, joke manager and the club in relegation postion. All easily fixed though. You need to have the will to do it though.
  2. Aguero isn't much kop at winning headers against the like of Shawcross. He also doesn't do very well to chest high balls pinged to him with a CB righ up his jacksy and not a team mate within 20 yards.
  3. I have no idea if he'd be any good or not but i can definitely see John Terry giving it a go.
  4. Peter Reid always comes across as a likeable guy to me.
  5. Getting his own back I reckon

f*** off c***. Cheek of this guy. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-managing-director-lee-8666360 The bit that really bites is that he had ample opportunity and funds to 'get behind John' by signing a player or two there by making JC's job significantly easier. Him and the fat f**k didn't bother but they still want everyone else to make the effort.
  7. I thought the header was just about perfect too tbh.

Don't agree personally. Gouffran or Riviere would and always will be better sub options than Obertan. There's never a reason to bring him as he can offer nothing constructive beyond what anyone else on the books could do.
  9. Hes not spent a dime on the ground  It was SJH and Fs that regenerated the stadium. All Ashley has done is curt costs to the bare minimum. Genius!!!! OH and lets not forget the free advertising for SD slapped all over the stadium that NUFC get nothing from. Great times! I will tell my future children about this last 8 years. Oh dear !! Wullie types some s**** and the agenda driven take it as gospel hahahahaha I never mentioned Ashley in any of those contexts btw What an odd individual. You must know who that Pack prick is by now? Why anyone engages with him is beyond me.

Has the athleticism to succeed. Applied himself well, contributed defending and noticeably going forward.
  11. Not a great game at all from him. Hard to believe he's captain.
  12. I'll admit i don't like Anita much but i thought he was ok at worst and often good. Always showed for the ball, got around well, tackled, nice control when he gets the ball and passes it confidently. I do think Colback's alright actually but i thought he was the complete opposite. Often hid behind Hull players, was rarely in a position to defend effectively and rarely did anything useful with the ball. Looked like a player from a couple of divisions below being carried by his team mates.
  13. After Southampton it's basically the rest of the transfer window gone before we play again. So if they're looking to avoid signing anyone, it definitely pays to delay any appointment. I know people say the new manager won't have any say on transfers but that isn't true IMO. They'll still have some input, even if it's not the infamous final say. Think its more the fact the two people charged with any signings would be too busy with appointing him than the manager having any real say tbh Really? They can't do more than 1 thing at a time?
  14. Time wasted. They had ample time to figure this while Pardew's contract wrangles were ongoing. New Man could be working with the team, organising training how he wants it, assessing players, etc. Our reasons for delay are simply total tight fisted.
  15. Didn't play well at all. Him and Colback just disappeared 2nd half.

Carver didn't show much bottle today.
  17. Don't agree with that. Not a fan of Anita tbh but he does show for the ball. About a ridiculous statement as one the other day (from someone else forget who) who said Anita was slow.
  18. He was pish but Dummett's total reluctance to overlap him was of no help whatsoever.
  19. His recent performances have seen him live up to the high standards he set for himself with that all-action display he put in against Man City at home, earlier in the season.
  20. Anita would have been good in Laudrup's Swansea. Silly to think he can only play for one team. I still haven't seen have enough overall effect to benefit us though. We need something else.
