Milner is such a good player, I really wish FFS hadn't pulled the plug on that move.
-
7.5 I think. Seemingly undroppable, too.

You're lucky in that we're playing with 10 men today, in that the shite Petrov is on the pitch. Watch how much time he wants on the ball, that comes from playing in Scotland where you get as much as you want.

You're looking the better team so far brummie.. Moore is a different type of striker to Carew, isn't he? Very much so, he's pacy. Fans love him. Carew is clearly not right at the moment.
-
He was ill last week as well. I hope we bring Luke Moore on if he goes off.

Pic qual is indeed shite on Setanta. How did that header stay out?

Why the hell should I subsidise people because they've made bad decisions in life? When the students get their £30k + jobs, will they return the favour? Not everyone has a low income because they made a bad decision in life, though.

Yes, it is Selfridges at the Bullring.

In the same way that free scarves has been copied almost everywhere now, I'd expect streamers to be the new easy option for clubs to be seen to be attempting to do something about the atmosphere. Of course, the only thing that will ever change the atmosphere in English grounds is the reintroduction of safe standing (and I say that as someone who prefers to sit these days) and the reduction of ticket prices. 30 quid plus for 90 minutes of "entertainment" in a league where the media only give a fuck about 4 teams, and those 4 teams are the only ones with a cat's chance in hell of winning it, thereby rendering 80 percent of games utterly, utterly pointless, is well over the top.

We have them this year, too, and by the sounds of the above instructions, the same system you have. Used them for the first time last week, no problems at all.
-
From my lot, Ashley Young, Craig Gardener (just brought into the U21s for the first time, I see) and Gary Cahill.

Ha ha. I can imagine scanning the menu at the refreshment stands ... "chicken balti pie, chips, sausage rolls, pasty, soapy tit wank"

Cheerleaders would be the thing that would cause me never to attend a match ever, ever again.

Saw that yesterday, good stuff B-man. Some inbred cretins actually think it's slagging Villa off though, still. Despite the fact it was written by a Villa fan. Would be funny if it wasn't so sad i think the post by Kan is a knowing that I am a Villa fan, ironic post. Although I may be wrong. What's your excuse for the other two? :parky: Just think it's a case of people seeing the title, seeing the source website, going "AAAAAARGHHHHNNNNRRRR!!!" and making a comment before even reading the article itself. I think you're right. Although apologies in advance for all the teenaged keyboard warriors, we've all got them, unfortunately.

They've replaced them this summer with much brighter ones, and stopped showing wanky adverts during half time.
-
Our new ones show the teams, with booked players highlighted in yellow, and occasionally show action (shots on goal, goals, etc etc). At all times the time remaining is in the corner. That I find very useful.
-
Our scoreboards have a toe curlingly bad little video clip of each player in turn as they announce the team, turning from side on to look at the camera.
-
We've got those as well. They're annoying.

Remember when you used to beg us to take Aaron Hughes back? Well please take Carr, he's a brilliant player. I never thought I'd say this, but if we gave Fulham back their money and had Hughes back right now, I wouldn't complain. This transfer window is driving me to tears, esp where RBs are concerned.
-
This one confuses me. I'm sure I remember a lot of people here (most?) saying during last season that he was generally a bit clueless. Then he hobbles around for the U21s and scores a penalty, and suddenly he's Paolo Maldini. I may be wrong, like.

I was reading a thread on one of our boards last week, concerning MON's seeming inability to buy defenders, and someone suggested we take a look at Stephen Carr. PS lots of Villa fans (and I waver this way myself) thing Gabriel Agbonlahor is a one trick pony who'll never really make it. I wouldn't go that far, but I think Craig Gardner will be a much better player.

This morning, Alan Brazil was getting himself into some seriously dodgy ground by intimating that the fact that lots of people of Asian origin work at Heathrow means it is "a ticking time bomb waiting to go off".
