  1. It looks like everyone at Villa is switching off, I can see Norwich winning. Villa have been better in the league recently and were definitely the better team until Ayew got himself sent off through the week. I can see them beating Norwich but I hope Norwich win. We are playing much, much better of late, but still can't win games.
  2. Well, I'm impressed, that's Barca-esque compared to the massive cunt soup which is Villa this season.
  3. Norwich are so shit, I wouldn't even rule out us maybe getting a point against them on Saturday. Just imagine, if it is us, you and the mackems who go down, the Championship is going to attract more attention than it has for ages.
  4. Man up. Easy for us to say when all our spirits are already crushed. Ha ha, that most football fan reply ever. That's cheered me.
  5. I honestly find myself genuinely close to actually crying. Last night was terrible. Tonight is terrible. Saturday will be terrible. I'm a 47 year old man who honestly thinks his football club are going to make him start blubbing.
  6. I've genuinely never been so fucking depressed by football. The only thing that could happen to make this season worse would be Garde leaving, and I think the CUNTS running us have conspired to ensure that happens, too.
  7. I hope Leicester win the league. Although those fucking rattly things their fans have are the most small time thing ever.
  8. I used to doodle formations and write A Tribe Called Quest in my notebooks. At school i used to do AVFC with various degrees of slope where the right hand part of the A runs parallel to the left hand side of the V. I also used to draw the two tone records logo over and over, too.
  9. What does Pardew keep scrawling in that little notebook? When I am in mindnumbing meetings at work, i start making notes, then drift off into doodling, and without fail, never ever look at the notes again. It's basically just a token effort to appear to be trying. I reckon that's his approach, too.
  10. Bournemouth fans singing "you're going down with the Villa" at Palace.
  11. f*** that, Palace can still get dragged into the relegation fight Palace are 10 points ahead of us, I'd rather the team that is 2 points ahead of us to lose It's sickening wanting Pardew to win BUT it's a necessary evil Palace need 3 wins to survive. They're absolutely safe. Win please. Good start for us here. You have to go back 10 games to get 3 wins from them. They only have 4 in the last 15. It's possible Even we beat Palace.
  12. Brainless stuff from Ayew tonight. Well on top for the first 20 minutes, he randomly cunts one of their players in the face with his elbow for no reason whatsoever. Nice three match ban and 70 mins with 10 men. We're looking surprisingly decent, though. So, basically, given our current injuries and suspensions, the list of strikers Garde can choose from for the next match is: Agbonlahor. That's it.
  13. That bit was so cringey. I feel dirty watching this shit.
  14. Fucking get in! Thank fuck, something, some positive to take from this window.
  15. What's your opinion on Garde brummie? From an outsider it appears he has made Villa at least a tougher side to beat, cup game at the weekend aside. Having had lots of draws could a few of them games been wins? It seems it's just the lack of quality letting Villa down Even the self destruct button at the back can be avoided these days, but his problem is the lack of options up front. The lack of a striker is the difference between draws and wins. You can see what he's trying to do. I fucking hope he stays. In fact, if there is one positive to all this shit, it is that it gets more and more people behind Garde.
  16. Well you tried at least one but we stole him Tried, but not very hard I'll wager. Where's the second option for us? Did it occur to them it might be harder than usual what with us being on -30 points?
  17. Maybe just a loan? A striker, someone as an option up front. Our striker options are Gestede, Kozak, Ayew and Agbonlahor. Jesus Christ. Gestede is out of his depth, Kozak is still getting over a broken leg, Ayew is not bad but will never be a prolific scorer, and Agbonlahor is a fat cunt everyone wants to see leave ASAP. One thing it has done is absolutely solidify the support for Garde - everyone can see the cunts have pulled the rug from under his feet.
  18. Not a single signing, not even a loan. If ever you wanted to see what it looks like when a chairman loses interest, look at us at the moment. Beyond pathetic. I hate these cunts.
  19. Hard luck, lads, at least you're in the champions league *wildly celebrates winning the league* again
  20. Charles N'Zogbia doing his bit to make people dislike footballers tonight on twitter https://twitter.com/CharlesNzo/with_replies Example: Not a fan of working off the ball http://i.imgur.com/8RnPpNE.jpg
  21. Admittedly, I don't watch that much football involving clubs that aren't Villa - although I generally try to avoid watching Villa these days as well - but until i just saw him interviewed whilst looking like the backing singer in an early 90s acid jazz band, I had totally forgotten Raheem Sterling even existed.
  22. I reckon we're following the correct strategy. Release a few players (Bennett, Crespo, Ilori, Senderos), bring in nobody. Hang on to your seats, Villa fans!
  23. Townsend is the sort of player who, when it's mooted he'll sign for you, you're distinctly underwhelmed. Then when he actually does sign, you start to realise it's not that bad a signing. It really isn't, either. The only point I'd worry about is the fee. That's a lot of money.
  24. Was saying this to a neutral earlier on, us 3 clubs must be most neutrals' choices to go down. The way all 3 clubs have gladly rode the gravy train with no effort to improve is disgraceful, and personal allegiances aside it would be funny as fuck if all 3 were punished before the money goes up significantly next year. Might be a lesson to others. Of course they will be. The bigger / glitzier / arrogant (as they see it) you are, the more people want you gone. Us, you and Sunderland have, for a few years now, offered absolutely zero to this league. Look at teams like Watford, Bournemouth, for example. Do any of us three really deserve to stay in the league ahead of clubs like that? I really don't think so. What's more, all three clubs are a fucking great example of what happens when your chairman doesn't care / loses interest / just likes money / is a massive cunt. The latest rumours down here are that Lerner is appointing his son Max to our board. He's 18. The sooner this fucking clown sells up, the better. I was only a baby when we went down into the third division, and apparently, that was a proper shambles. I went to almost every game in 86-7 when we went down again, and that was a fucking shambles, too. But this year, it's a total clusterfuck. We can't even get things right off the pitch. In the last 5 years we've grown our commercial revenue by a total 14% - that's about inflation. That's, in an era of huge money, fucking pathetic, and shows up Lerner's total inability to make appointments, which is exactly what Cleveland Browns fans told us. Maybe if we'd had someone with a brain in our commercial department, we wouldn't have had to sign the sort of shite we've signed the last five years, and spent that whole time stinking out the league, doing it on the cheap. We're an absolute embarrassment to the people who founded us, and all the people who have since contributed to us. If i didn't support us, I'd want us relegated this season and next, too.
  25. * wells up* not only that, but we were easily the better side, played well.
