  1. Did they spend the whole training camp time in Spain playing cross bar/post challenge?
  2. I see Lazaar and Aarons both started for Sheffield Wednesday who are winning 3 - 0 (Aarons has just been subbed off).

  4. I'm also not an expert either but 20 days in the sea starting near one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world makes me think the odds of finding his body are extremely remote. Large ships wouldn't notice hitting a body in the water.
  5. Sala died of "head and trunk injuries". https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/emiliano-sala-cause-death-revealed-15813043
  6. The pilot has been in the sea for 19 days. I imagine his body could have floated a long distance in that time. Very unlikely he'll be found by a search. Where would they even begin the search?
  7. Just checked the scores to see Man City have "opened a can of whoop-ass" (as an American might say) on Chelsea.
  8. Are you implying he parachuted out over the sea or his dead body 'escaped' the plane after it crashed into the sea? What on earth is this post? My post? I took issue with the use of the word "escaped". The dictionary definition of "escaped" would mean alive. The dead don't escape from anywhere.

  10. Escaped? Does every air crash come with a conspiracy now? As for Sala being scared on the previous flight, if he's used to flying on a commercial airlines then goes in a small propeller plane it's a lot more bumpy and noisy. Maybe he was nervous about flying anyway? The pilot was supposedly a last minute replacement. If the pilot really wanted to kill himself over £25K of debt he could have done it on any of his thousands of hours of flying without a passenger.

  12. As mentioned by Rafa, if a player speaks Spanish it isn't such a problem as a lot of our players and staff speak Spanish. Japanese (and German if Muto speaks it) wouldn't be much use here.

  16. So they shipped out a few fringe players, reducing the squad size (and possibly reducing the wage bill) and brought in 2 players. A lot of hope is riding on Almiron being a success and adapting straight away.
  17. It's better than no transfers in and fringe players out which I expected but, I can't say I'm particularly happy with the business NUFC have done. A loaned left wing back who might play at some point and a number 10 who hopefully does well. There's a lot of hope riding on Almiron.
  18. As NUFC are out the cups this is usually the time Mike Ashley decides to trim the squad. Can't be paying all those wages for players who don't get in the starting 11. Players out (even if it's only on loan) are probably the priority rather than players in for Ashley. No cover/squad depth is required by Ashley.
