  1. Aye, that wouldn’t stop them having any competition. Which let’s face it, is the real reason FFP exists.
  2. Very true aye, in from of a big atmosphere as well. Also relies on Leicester winning against West Ham, could happen if their big players show up.
  3. Aye Everton going down would be delightful. I just cannot see them not beating Bournemouth sadly in front of their intimidating home crowd, when AFCB have downed tools. Would be devastated in a way as I’m at a wedding do tonight so would miss their meltdown on the Twitter space.
  4. Would be nice to preserve the above of course but after an energy and emotion sapping season, particularly the last few weeks I won’t be getting too invested in it. Be interesting to see what team we put out and how we approach it considering we have reached our goal, we went to Burnley last season and turned them over despite it being a game whereby we had nowt to play for. Going to enjoy the big games at the foot of the table, watching three decent sized clubs to see which ones drop.
  5. Don’t want him to leave but just cannot rely on him being fit for a prolonged period of time. Can understand why we would cash in on him if a good offer came in. Eddie was talking about the importance of trading in regards to FFP the other day in his presser. Do hope that we sign a winger for each side if he does go.
  6. Coventry would just replace Southampton as being a bit of a dull club with a shit, boring ground.
  7. Aye I cannot see that happening at all (wearing it tomorrow).
  8. Thought it was interesting that in his press conference yesterday he said that the transfer window last summer wasn’t a reflection of what his vision was, would like to know what he had in mind. Good that he said he was happy with it though. To be fair we did sign two of the best young players in Europe and an absolute bargain in Pope.
  9. Yeah they can sign players and announce them, but their contract won’t start until the day the window opens.
  10. Wouldn’t say I wouldn’t accept it but I would think it’d look shit as fuck.

    Kieran Trippier

I’m just glad all this is happening now that the season is pretty much over. Funny though that he was on that podcast last week talking about how he doesn’t go out etc now. If this is all true of course.
  12. Liverpool have some of the biggest whopper fans. Whinging about us doing something we haven’t done yet. Petition to their MP by the end of May no doubt.

I don’t actually mind him, it’s just little things like that. When watching the Mackems the other week you’d think their PA gadgie worked in the WWE or something, glad we don’t have some nacka shouting on.

    Nick Pope

Would like to see Karius play over Dubravka mind. Can’t see it though.
  15. Imagine the fewm if the Mackems had Arabic on their shirts.
  16. Mental that they can stop a sponsorship deal. Hopefully if it happens to use we get another CAT case going against the bastards. Crease that it was brought in not long after our take over too, when many clubs had taken the piss with it.

    Pep / Man City

Hypocritical of Pep to whinge about wanting it done sooner; however, the Premier League can’t exactly complain about kicking the can down the road….
  18. “Similar to last seasons budget” when we spent £63 million on Isak alone.

    Match Atmosphere

Not mentioned yet but “Toon Toon” pre match had me cringing.

    Match Atmosphere

Fully agree with this, I was disappointed as thought it could be one of the best I’ve been to. Thought even Southampton was better in the second half. After the game was great though.
  21. Delighted this game doesn’t mean anything and I can focus my energy on being a Bournemouth and Leicester City supporter instead for the weekend.
  22. Would love it as it would mean he doesn’t beat Shesrer’s record. Can honestly see him staying at Spurs though.
  23. Maybe he could have thought, but chose to stay at Everton. Wouldn’t knock him for being loyal like. I would love Benitez to be involved with the club again one day. Feel like he has unfinished business here, but not sure what role I could see him in.
