Gave it a 1. Relegation was never a realistic fear but the entire league campaign was an absolute waste of time. I suppose I could give it a 2 since we qualified from the CL, but fuck that. This season ended in July. Usually at the end of a season there's something to build upon, a reason to welcome the rest and revitalization of the squad. This season ending is a fucking mercy, and we've got so many problems in our squad I honestly think next season will be equally a complete waste of time. I bear Howe no specific antipathy but a campaign this bad does not engender anticipation either. The big question looming over us is will he learn? Can he adapt? Or will we do this one more time, out of appreciation for a cup victory and because he's a nice lad?
