  1. Rennes have had another bid rejected for Jens Cajuste for £10m - would seem like if he was a target we would need to make a move rather than waiting on Willock. Mariano Diaz is one who is on the backburner too according to media in France. This transfer window makes no sense at all!
  2. Tino Livramento to Southampton from Chelsea. They've sold off a few of their younger players after hoarding them on loans for a number of seasons!
  3. To be fair to Muto - never thought he was that bad, but didn't strike me as someone that was going to fit into the team. Fair play to him taking a pay cut to go to Vissel, but I've got no faith that he will be replaced...more likely its the "fourth GK" slot required!
  4. Poor table placement. Teetering on the edge.
  5. Could the outcome related to Man City and the EPL have any impact. It would seem the EPL have had some busy lawyers over the last few years? They also reference the NUFC v EPL case in the judgement. Canny signings of Adam Lewis and Andrew Hunter QC's for the EPL!
  6. Is it likely the Premier League have requested the information via arbitration that they wanted from the CAT case related to the confidential document?
  7. Where did this come from? I have saw the tweet linked to PCP earlier, but they have clearly said that they were not part of the arbitration so NUFC would have had to have provided an update to infer the EPL have delayed this.
  8. Most likely the club had sent the story to media and embargoed it for a certain time until it had been released by the club.

    Graeme Jones

Has the u21 role been filled since Boothroyd left? I wonder if this was part of the pre-checks to see if he Graeme fit the bill around how the FA want the game to progress.
  10. If anything there has been at least things ongoing in the background, although at a snails pace. CAT Case opened on the 22nd April with the Premier League acknowledging this on the 4th May with them requesting an extension on the 11th May to contest the case. St. James Holdings opposed this on the 11th and 13th May which lead to the initial timeline of the 11th June. The Premier League contested the CAT jurisdiction on 11th June with St. James Holdings countering this with evidence on the 28th June to which the Premier League replied to on the 30th June requesting an extension of time. It seems that St. James Holdings sent correspondence outlining it's position on the 30th June and 1st July regarding this extension the judge considered this and has allowed an extension to reply until 12th July. Arbitration has not started so anyone via Twitter who implied it has been has now been proven to be incorrect. It might also imply why the club released a statement on the 1st July given yet another delay. I'm no expert, but I do wonder if the accounts being delayed contribute to some of the commercially sensitive information currently withheld from the Premier League, although this is from 2019/20 so could just be Ashley's accounting practice. It might also indicate, as their current evidence shows, the Premier League have been granted an extension of time to prepare for the arbitration to the 9th June in that case which potentially delayed the start of the case. I haven't checked, but might be interesting to look at when Keith or Liam put information out to see if the timelines match up or if it has been guesswork.
  11. Signings confirmed for the u23 squad include Remi Savage, Cameron Ferguson and Charlie Wiggett with confirmation waited on Shaun Mavididi. We saw a huge amount of players released and seems like we're bringing in youth from other clubs to replace them. Is this just a case of bulking up the team with potential or squad fillers when the Pizza Cup takes place? We've had a number of other players arrive like Matthew Bondswell, Reagan Thomson, Rodrigo Vilca, Niall Brookwell and Stan Flaherty but not aware of any making the step up when we've had an injury crisis - other than Anderson.

    Sunderland

It feels like there is a red card and another penalty in this game.
  13. I understand it as this would have created an opportunity for a club or clubs to influence the Premier League into a decision. The club most likely would need to produce evidence from during the test stage to indicate they had provided everything as requested and other shareholders had acted in a way that had impeded their ability to compete or the club suffered damages throughout this process. I feel like the arbitrition actually covers the main issue which was highlighted as separation between KSA and PIF in terms of the OADT.
  14. Imagine going back to the days where you could just enjoy the football! Even this morning news from ESPN Brazil indicated a former Brazilian FA lead is secretly controlling the CBF despite being banned by FIFA for corruption. With this comes further questions about why Edu from Arsenal continued to work with him despite this. This could all be harmless, but clubs are going to have to openly condemn it otherwise they are liable to be implicated. The Saturday 3pm and 90 minutes seems long gone.
  15. This will come down to semantics, but I didn't realise this was the response to NUST from Masters where he refers to PIF as a company.
  16. I'd be interested to know if during the talk around Spurs if Todd Boehly would have been involved namely through Eldridge Industries which have been previosuly mentioned by Keith as trying to do some investments with Saudi Arabia. A quick search indicates interest in Tottenham and Chelsea throughout 2019 - has links to the LA Dodgers, speculating another US based owner mixing in the same sporting circles as some of the current EPL owners prior to Project Big Picture and the ESL coming out it would be a no-brainer investment into the Premier League if you knew in advance of this plan.
  17. If they have serious evidence the Premier League and/or clubs have acted improper is the best course of action to go through the process rather than this just be about the takeover? I mean as much as I'd like the takeover, if the evidence is damming then surely for the best result for a majority of clubs all the information should be shared rather than looking for an agreement to be reached?
  18. Clearly a confident goalscorer, both finishes tonight he was composed. Really like him as a player, although wish he always had this level of service as would be 20+ goals a season
  19. Probably wider considerations about investment in the city. If they have the football club then that value for money might be properties or investments for partners in the area leading to a greater return on that £350m initial contribution.
  20. Same sentiments as I don't think he means any harm, but it's just poorly thought out. I also think basing feelings on following someone's tweets will ultimately lead to people feeling more disappointed. There hasn't been any takeover information of note for months, but every now and then he drops some cryptic teaser in.
  21. B.16. In all matters and transactions relating to the League each Club shall behave towards each other Club and the League with the utmost good faith. B.17. No Person bound by these Rules, including any Club (either by itself, its registered Players, Officials, employees or agents), shall do any of the following: (a) conduct itself in an abusive, insulting, intimidating or offensive manner towards any (other) Club or the League or (where applicable in either case) any of its registered Players, Officials, employees or agents; (b) commit any act (or omission) or make any statement that is discriminatory by means of race, religion, gender, sexuality, colour or national or ethnic origin; or (c) commit any act (or omission) or make any statement that brings the League, its competition, a Club, a Broadcaster or a party to a Commercial Contract into disrepute.
  22. It would be interesting if any other owners or directors had actually broke rules as per the current test for this season and in effect created a huge scenario about them being fit or purpose. Any familiar with the rules?!
