I'd like us to bring in a big CB badass. Its what we need now, someone big, tough and not like Bramble in any shape or form

I mean I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does.....................but in my opinion...........................hes the shittest player I've seen play for Newcastle. Sorry but thats just my feelings on him. The sheer amount of times I've screamed his name at my TV whenever he fucked up in our games, urgh, see ya later Patty. -
Forget what's on the official site. I'm talking about backroom staff on the playing side not the bloody ticket office! Haha sorry my bad, its been a long day

SSN said a medical had taken place I believe. I'm 80% sure (although they may have said it was happening tomorrow) but it seems a pretty much done deal ( *gets to work on altering the sig* ) If it doesn't happen, I'll hunt you down and shoot you like the dog you are... http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/3476/staringsquirrelcopyfe5.jpg

Comes across as such a greedy prick to me >

Yep, I just have to keep reminding myself how this summer would be going with Roeder on board. I dread to think! We'd be listening to excuse after excuse ever day, whilst free/loan/cheap signings were disappearing behind it all. I love Sams 'Get Stuck In' transfer approach, he sees a player he admires and thinks will improve the club and goes out to get him. I think Roeder just tip toed around agents too much and didn't have the balls. Obviously times have changed a little since then concerning Ashley but I'm sure you get my drift.
-
I think whenever we concede a goal, I tend to notice an 'Oh Well....' face on Babayaro, rather than a 'Ah fuckin hell man, come on!!' Seems to have a lack of passion in his play, in my opinion..
-
True although I'd much rather have a dedicated Left Back or 2 arriving sometime soon I'm loving this summer so far, only the 1st of July too!
-
He has a much better chance of 1st team football here and we're on the up again. If I were him I'd join the toon, heh, brings new challenges here whereas I'm guessing he doesn't feel as wanted as much at chelski. We're his best option now that hes on a free, best option for him and certainly a great option for us. Even if he wasn't a guranteed 1st team regular, he'd be great in the squad to have around with all of his experience and a useful option in a variety of positions. Win-Win deal for us I feel.
-
You'd get rid of our top scoring striker instead of shipping out Ramage/Carr/Babayaro?! Jesus!
-
Stephen Carr for me, although it was a tough choice between him, Babayaro and Ramage
-
If Geremi signs, and I'd be very happy if he does, then I think just one CB and a LB are needed at the back. Of course I'd welcome other defensive squad signings if possible too in case of injuries... What do you lot think? 2 more CBs and a LB? I think the next CB we sign would have to be a very, very good one who'll be able to manage a full season in the middle alongside Roze/Taylor.

Beggin' yer pardon but what is 'skunkers'?

This. Also with so many stories in the press being totally made up, they're always likely to pick out older players to link us with due to Sams work at Bolton. I think Sam has done exactly the right thing and is addressing all of the problems I've been worried about in the past. We've need a lot of NOW players for too long now as I've got sick of waiting for the TOMORROW players to perform. Younger players will be on the agenda soon, no need to worry about that!
-
Haha I knew some would fall for it

Of course, but it would be nice to see him holding a toon shirt in his hands on .cock "Sunderland have pulled off the biggest steal of the summer so far in clinching the signature of David Rozehnal from under the noses of rivals Newcastle United." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/6244972.stm http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/4974/53139268copymw2.png WTFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
