    Emre's Staying

Hopefully our new training/fitness setup can sort him out. This news is great for me as hes one of my fave Newcastle players, just love it when he scores
  2. soz if posted, from .com The Sunday Sun's "insider" claims that Mike Ashley himself persuaded Freddy Shepherd to stay on after the chairman offered his resignation along with the rest of the board. Can't wait for this clean slate, makes me feel all fresh and clean

  4. I'll miss Henry in the Premiership, I think alongside Alan, hes the best player to have graced the league in its history. I wish him well and I hope to god Arsenal stay the fuck away from our players. They're all ours
  5. This would be a dream come true. I still can't see Owen leaving, he'd be crucified if he did surely! and Martins said yesterday he is very happy here and wants to stay. *prays!*
  6. Newcastle-Online's finest soldiers will protect him That is some fucked up shit like....
  7. eBay? Only get it from an ebay shop though. Message them to ask if its totally genuine first

    Want Diouf?

Hahaa Diouf would be running away from Barton who'd be tryin to smack him. I can imagine the Benny Hill theme tune going with that during a training session
  9. I think we all know about our defence inside out now. We're all just waiting to see what develops in the coming weeks... We're not cursed, its just that managers haven't scouted correctly and they've ended up bringing in players who lack mental awareness and just general intelligence. Couple that with questionable talent, poor teamwork, zero communication and poor fitness levels and we were always going to be picking the ball out of our net more often than not. Sam has already said he wants to bring in a whole back 4 pretty much so I'm not too fussed on the timing of their arrival, just as long as he gets them in

    Want Diouf?

I would rather not have Diouf but I'd trust Sam to instill a little more respect in him but...ah I dunno..... On another front, some relatively positive news on Owen from Shearer? http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/chroniclesport/tm_headline=al--owen-to-stay-in-toon%26method=full%26objectid=19314764%26siteid=50081-name_page.html Shearer, of course, was instrumental in helping United pull off the £17m signing of Owen from Real Madrid at the end of the summer two years ago. And the former United skipper, who jets off to Canada tomorrow as a part of his ambassadorial role for Umbro, told me before he left: "I am sure there are lots of people who want to ask me whether I think Michael Owen will be at Newcastle next season. "To be honest, I don't think anyone would be prepared to pay £10m or £11m for him until they have seen him play for five or six months. "So if anyone says to me `will he be here next season' I would have to say yes, I think he will be. "And I also think him playing up front with Mark Viduka will be a great partnership for United. "Viduka is great at holding the ball up and we all know how great Michael is at scoring goals. "So I don't think there will be many better partnerships out there in the Premiership next season than the one at St James' Park." Can't wait to see our attack next season like, if everyone is retained which I'm personally not worried about

    Kanoute

No quotes about Owen whatsoever. Ignored. Although I'd love Kanoute to replace Ameobi, just imagine that? would be unreal
  12. simple question: when does the transfer window shut this summer? is it August?
  13. lmao, craig hope has as much personality as a spaghetti hoop too

    Bye Bye

I'm just going to quote this again for the muppets who can't read correctly.
  15. Used to watch Football Italia every Saturday morning and then the match the next day, this is great news
  16. Personally I can't see him leaving............but if he does, wouldn't there be fuckin riots? after all of the assurances and promises hes made in the past. He'd be the most hated person in the North East!! I just don't know but I can't see him being stupid or shallow enough to just leave after all the money we've invested in his rehabilitation.....he said he's felt so guilty about it all, so now he needs to open his mouth to reassure all of us. If he doesn't then there'll prolly be quite a few eggs thrown at him blueyes.gif

    Kieron Dyer....

I totally agree with you. IMO he was the best player for us last season, fair enough his crossing wasn't the best, but he'll only get better for us surely. Haha, get rid of Milner, jesus christ......wait, wha.......he was serious?

  21. I've always believed in him getting things done but I didn't expect him to get cracking so quickly. With all of the rumours and takeover talk I thought the days had passed slowly but its only bloody June the 7th! Well pleased now! Its funny how a football club can have such an impact on my emotions but I've been through so much with Newcastle. The amount of rollercoaster games, frustration, heartache and pure joy surely isn't good for the heart! .......but right now I feel like I've won the lottery, crazy innit. Funny old game eh
  22. I agree with you. It's highly unlikely we won't get injuries, even minor ones, and competition = motivation. If we are going to compete with the top clubs, it's exactly what we need. Exactly. We never had a squad of any depth last season so we're not used to it We need a large squad of quality if we are to achieve anything in the coming seasons blueyes.gif
  23. Stop whinging about old bloody threads and open some fuckin cans :drink: :drink:
