  1. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/8511556.stm will be interesting to see if he gets fit right in time and how his form will be then at the World Cup if he makes it. It's all prepared for the Terry & Bridge partnership...
  2. Same, would be very nice to get a win and pop back to the top. Impossible to predict after recent results really. Perhaps it's easier to predict now. I think (more hope) they will want to show that they're Premier League class and will want to beat Swansea. We also beat them comfortable at home this season so that increases my hopes of a good result.
  3. Hope the players don't think the way you do tbh. I thing it would be great to win something - even if it's only the Championship. So the players should give everything in every game and try to win this league. If we still fail then ok, but not the way like "2nd is enough". Don't think that would be right.
  4. Loved how he could touch a ball and hold it up against the defender. Very good technique as well. Sadly never really came good for us (only in that run under KK). Personally, I would have liked to see him given another season for us in the CCC. If fit (big if) he would have stormed that league.
  5. we need pacey players against this lot, so lovenkrands has to start for me It's an away game, so I really really doubt that Hughton will start him.
  6. http://www.nufcblog.com/2010/02/11/reports-jeff-vetere-has-left-newcastle-good/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+nufcblog+%28The+Newcastle+United+Blog%29 Don't know if already posted but it was asked here if Vetere was still at the club or not. Here's the answer. (I know, only NUFC-Blog, but still)
  7. I can see Hughton making some changes after that 3-0 defeat this week. I think Smith and Coloccini will be back in the starting XI and probably Ameobi.
  8. Put 5€ on Bayern Munich (-1) and Schalke (-1) returns 15€.

    Danny Guthrie

You make it sound as though he can't afford it. He isn't making that figure in an entire year and probably wont be for some time, is what I mean. 52 weeks x £4.000 = £208.000. So he does make that amount of money.

    Danny Guthrie

http://www.tribalfootball.com/huge-difference-between-coloccini-guthrie-wages-newcastle-634061 According to that article Guthrie is only earning 4.000 Pounds a week. Don't know if true but if true than he should get a new contract with a better salary imo. Not that I would support those massive wages of footballers but 4000 a week is even less than what Simpson earns here.
  11. I'am hoping for Smith and Nolan almost. Hope Butt isn't fit to return. Why not Smith and Guthrie?Nolans been on the wine since Christmas. FYP cos it would explain a lot. Aye. Of course, Guthrie and Smith.
  12. Hughton showed us today that not every supporter would made a good manager. So many on here (me included) would have loved to play a ovensive line-up away from home all season. Glad now he hasn't done it before today and I think he will go back to his negative away tactics.
  13. Well, at least this year we aren't the only team that lost to Derby like we were in 07/08.
  14. I'am hoping for Smith and Nolan almost. Hope Butt isn't fit to return.
  15. Lost every of those... But this one ist still alive
  16. Hope that this result will wake some of our players up again. Since cristmas we've been poor (only one really good one vs. Cardiff).
  17. whats the problem I have very little to disagree with. Who's the captain tonight? Harps or Nolan? Noalan.
  18. 11€ on us to win (like last week). 1,50€ on Nolan first goalscorer, 1€ on Williamson to score @ anytime, 1€ on us to win 3-0.
  19. Barton back in training. Was about time. WE DON'T HOTLINK TO .CO.UK INNIT' http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20100208/toon-in-training-fun-day-monday-benton_2240137_1959392
  20. Milan last season? His current Milan spell hasn't been long yet so he still could do something good.
  21. No. I just think both should go. But if I had to decide on one of them I would take Beckham because of his experience and his ability in crossing, passing and taking free-kicks.
